Subject: Perry

My sympathies go out to Perry's daughters. It has been a long time since I spoke to Perry so I did a search online this morning to see if I could find him & see what he's been up to. What a shock to find out of his passing. If only I had looked him up a few months ago... If I would have gotten ahold of him, I would have thanked him for being a friend. I would have thanked him for helping me the time when I got stuck in the city & had no where to stay. I would have thanked him for introducing me to Julian Lennon & having my picture taken with him. I would have thanked him for showing me all of his wonderful pictures & telling me stories that I never would hear anywhere else. Other people have mentioned that he gave them pictures, he gave me pictures also, Robert Plant, Phil Collins, I think he wanted everyone to enjoy music and the memories as much as he did. It was about 20 years ago when I met Perry & even though I haven't talked to him in a while, I can still picture him & hear his voice, as plain as day. I'm so glad I found this site. I had such an empty feeling this morning. Rest in peace, Perry Cooper.
