(S) Colonel Rabb !
(SECNAV) Colonel, I know it is Sunday night but I have an emergency and need your help. A special Recci F-18 from the Patrick Henry had to bingo to the airport in London and I need your people to protect that plane.
(S) Where is it now?
(SECNAV)The Brits were nice enough to move it into a General Aviation hanger but the worst of it is Channel 71 News was showing a 747 landing and people watching could see the F-18 landing behind it. Now everyone knows it¡¦s there.
(S) Have you cleared the way for us to come in armed?
(SECNAV) Yes. They are waiting on you. Colonel, this is a special F-18 and needs to be protected 24/7 at all costs. No one is to be around it except you, your troops, and Harm.
(S)I¡¦m on it. I¡¦ll have people there within 15 minutes.
(SECNAV) May I speak with the Captain. I want him to fly it back to the Henry.
(S) I will get him. Thank you. Sir.
Sarah yelled for Harm and opened her cell phone and called Mac. As she was giving Mac orders, Harm took the other phone.
(H) Mr. Sheffield.
(SECNAV)We have a special Recci F-18 from the Henry down at the London airport. There is a repair team on their way right now. I have given the Colonel orders to get protection around it ASAP. I need you to fly it back to the Henry tomorrow. Can you give me a couple days?
(H) Yes sir.
(SECNAV) General Cresswell has all the details and is now awaiting your call.
(H) I will make the call right now. Thank you sir.
SECNAV hangs up and Harm immediately calls Cresswell.
(phone ringing)
General Cresswell !
(H) This is Captain Rabb sir. Sorry for the call on Sunday sir. The SENAV told me to call right away. He said you would have information for me.
(C) He told you about the F-18 didn¡¦t he.
(H) Yes he said it was a special Recci bird.
(C) That¡¦s right. Here is how I envision this working. Some of this is evidently code but I am going to tell you what I was told. We are going to help each other. You are going to help me and I have arranged something for you in return. Did you bring your helmet and flight suit from D.C. ?
(H) Yes sir.
(C) I talked to the CAG on the Henry which I think is an old friend of yours. Cmdr. Keeter took a look at your record and said that you needed a 2 hour cross country, 3 day traps, 3 night traps, and 2 in-flight refuelings to stay current. That¡¦s part of what you get and I need you to spend enough time with Cmdr. Turner, who is on the Henry for an article 32 hearing, to help me write his FITREP. He has not been out of the office enough and I need your input.
As I imagine you have already guessed, there is really more to it than that. How would you like to fly with the Blue Angels? The Recci flight of the F-18 still needs to be preformed. Because of the equipment aboard, no other plane can do the job. You will receive your flight plan overnight on secure fax there in the library. The only thing important about it is the name of who sent it. Remember it. That is your password for tomorrow morning when you get into the F-18. After you fire up the Hornet, open the flight computer and click on the OP file. Put in this password and you will get your real flight plan.
The repair crew will give you a knee package which contains a step by step checklist telling you how to turn on all the cameras, infra-red, side looking radar, and all recording devices at the right time. There will be an AWACS close which will take you through anything else needed. Do a refuel before your make your run and one after before making your way to the carrier. The CAG says he will have a ready deck to help you on your day traps. Check in with Turner and ask if you can be of help to him some way. When he say no and explains all he has done, remember enough to write a good FITREP for me. After you get your night traps in, make sure you get a good night sleep because there is more to come.
Tuesday morning, you will board a chopper for a hop to the beach. You will meet up with someone named Andy Watson who said since the automatic feature of what you call the A plane isn¡¦t working, he needs you to fly it. You will end the flight where the Blue Angels will be preparing to leave. They have saved you a seat in their 2 seater for a ride to London. One overnight trip, several thousand miles later, and you can have Sarah pick you up at the airport at 20:00 Tuesday night. SECNAV has already told the Colonel he wants you to deliver the F-18 to the Henry so you will not need to lie to her.

Hammer arrived in flight suit with his Marine Colonel wife carrying a slightly scuffed helmet and old deerskin gloves to this magnificent beast. Sarah walked with him as he did his pre-flight and stood close to him under the left wing and exchanged looks, smiles, and ¡§be carefuls¡¨ before they shared a kiss that had to be good enough to last 2 days. He climbed into the cockpit, waved at Sarah who slowly backed away while blowing a kiss to him, and flipped the engine start switches as he advanced the throttles. The engines came to life as the beast woke up. After getting engine ignition and passing 45%, he advanced throttles again and engines went to 100%. He turned the flight computer on and brought up the OP file. He inserted the password and the flight plan came on screen. Ow¡K.My God. There again ???? Harm brought the throttles back to idle to make sure all was well and took a long, long look at his wife. He saluted her and winked. She saluted back and moved aside. He looked at the plane captain for direction and when given brought the engines up to 90%. The brakes were released and the beast started to move forward. He made a slow left turn when directed, saluted the plane captain and punched it up to 100%. Sarah watched as he taxied and got into position on the duty runway.
Knowing her husband as she did, she suspected a show for everyone and asked them to gather around. With brakes locked, Harm brought the engines to maximum afterburner for a bit longer that normal and finally released the brakes. The aircraft accelerated quickly and rose about 30 feet off the runway. Harm cleaned up the aircraft by bringing the gear up but left the aircraft at 30 ft. The speed increased quickly and went screaming down the runway. As the 12,000 ft sign approached, Harm pulled the aircraft up into a vertical climb and went straight up until it could no longer be seen. Sarah felt flush with pride knowing that he had done it for her and the crew. Her man made flying look like so much fun. Just a few rules being either bent or broken during the exercise¡K¡K.
Harm nosed it over and set the new coordinates into the computer and watched the plane come into compliance. He sat back and waited for the time to pass before checking in with the flying fuel station.

(S) Agent Lewis. A Lt. James will be arriving shortly in a standard issue blue military ford sedan to pick up the package. Please follow him through the drive-thru at McDonalds to make the switch. He will tell you where it is to be delivered. Please follow him and switch back when you are finished. Please let me know later what was found.
(Lewis) Where do I drop off evidence for you?
(S) Have the gate guards drop it in the blue lockbox.
In flight

After taking on a full load of fuel, Harm turned into the next coordinate and reviewed the checklist for electronics. The AWACS verified proper time and distance to the run and started the recording of the impending exercise. At the correct time Harm received instructions to activate all systems and turned into the run. About 45 seconds later ¡§Home Base¡¨ verified that all images and signals were being seen and recorded in real time. AWACS agreed.
Other than an occasional sweep of a targeting radar from the ground, the run was like all milk runs practiced by Recci pilots daily. Harm broke off as the final point was passed and headed to the tanker. After he took another drink, he headed for the Henry. He made 3 traps and went up for the forth since one had been a little sloppy. The forth came up to standard and he landed the beast on a 2 wire. God, he loved flying.
He went into debrief and went through the procedure. Keeter came and joined him and both made their way to see the ship¡¦s Captain. Later he looked up Sturgis and did what Cresswell suggested with the result he envisioned. Harm sat down and wrote up a FITREP worthy of Cmdr. Turner. He took it by CIC and had it faxed on the secure line. He asked and made a ship to shore so he could talk to Sarah. He had to let her know all was well. He told her that he was going to try to hook up with the Blue Angels tomorrow and made sure she would be at the airport to pick him up at 20:00.
Harm suited up a second time and did his night traps in a super Hornet with all the latest goodie in it. The automatic carrier landing system worked flawlessly and it was a fun ride. Keeter was waiting and went into debrief with him to say job well done. The two spent another hour in the officer¡¦s mess for coffee, war stories, and lies.

Harm boarded the helo and waved at Sturgis and Keeter. It sure had been good to see them. The flight to the beach took about 20 minutes and they landed on a grassy knoll where a car was waiting. Harm jumped out as Andy Watson was waving to him. Harm saluted the pilot of the helo and watched as it left. He climbed into the car and shook hands with Andy. They drove for about 48 minutes and stopped at a small airfield in the hills. At one end of the field, very close and tucked under large trees, sat the AURORA. Andy explained why the automatic feature had failed and told Harm what he would need to do to compensate. Harm suited up in the new style high altitude/space suit and climbed into the cockpit. He sat for a long time trying to remember all controls and procedures. Andy answered questions for Harm and suited up himself. He enjoyed hearing the different sound of the engines and it brought memories of flying the bird for the CIA.
As they were climbing through 20,000 ft. at Mach 2.9, Andy told Harm he was ready to take control and command the flight path. Andy explained that they would run across to the Bering sea at Mach 6.7, take on fuel and loop back over the north pole to Germany to arrive right after it was dark outside. Harm questioned him asking if that was right since that would take them over China, the old Soviet Union, and Korea. Yes, they were in the flight path, he replied. Andy told Harm to make sure his pressure suit was mated well with his helmet and that the heat was on because it was going to be cold at 98,000 ft.(near outer space) Harm made all checks and settled back as the computer took over flight of the bird. Every once in a while he glanced in the mirrors finding Andy flipping switches and busy as he could be. After a little over an hour in flight, Andy told Harm to prepare to go down to take on fuel. Wow, 4,400 miles an hour really gets it done in a hurry.
After clearing the coast Harm turned North to their new heading and started to descend. They made contact with an AWACS who helped them find the unmarked tanker. Refueling was problematic because the slow speed of the tanker had to be matched. They stayed long enough for a full load and broke away. They slowed down and let the tanker fly away from them to conceal where they were going. The computer took over again on the right flight paths to get data on every target stored in memory. It was like riding in a taxi with someone else doing the driving. As they passed over the pole, they took on more fuel and changed course again. After Andy verified that data had been captured on every target, he gave Harm the coordinates to the base in Germany and also cranked it in to the computer. Harm took over about 600 miles out and started his descent.
Since it was now dark outside, Harm identified himself to the tower as a Super Hornet and commenced a straight in approach at a steep angle of attack. He taxied quickly to the restricted area where the waiting Blue Angels were. Harm shut down the left engine and climbed out of the front while Andy came forward. Harm retrieved his bag from the locked compartment and moved under the AURORA wing and changed clothes into his old flight suit and boots. He stowed the space suit in the compartment and locked it back up. Andy thanked him, shook his hand and climbed into the front. Harm was surrounded by Angels as he walked away from the mysterious black plane. They all stood and watched as Andy started the left engine and taxied out to the duty runway. They all took notice as the engines started making that strange noise that Harm loved so much. The aircraft took to the air and disappeared into the black of night.
Harm was greeted warmly and was led to the 2 seater F-18 where he would ride in the back. He felt honored like he was in the midst of celebrities and secretly every Blue Angel there would have given their eye teeth to have been the one climbing out of that black plane that had just went to Mach 7 out close to outer space. Harm leaned back on 100 % oxygen and just relaxed. The adrenaline rush had been non-stop and he knew the oxygen would almost put him to sleep.
The ride home was uneventful until the F-18¡¦s made their signature passes and landings in London. A small crowd had gathered to watch their arrival and was rewarded for being there. As every Blue Angel climbed out of the cockpit and gathered to meet the local dignitaries who had invited them, they all stopped to notice a Limo approaching and a beautiful Marine Corps Colonel jumping out to greet her man. She took his helmet and handed him his Navy cover with chicken s**t all over the bill and they both turned and gave the Angels a salute. Every one returned the salute and gave them a big ¡§thumbs up¡¨ as Harm and Sarah loaded into the limo and was driven away.

(S) Yes agent Lewis. This is Colonel Rabb. I have your schedule for the rest of the week. All of these should depart around 09:00 each morning. Chief Harry Adams today at the Red Fox. Tomorrow is Lt. Amanda Brown at the Blue Moon and Friday is Lt. J.G. Sally Smith also at the Blue Moon. Captain Rabb will call you Friday with details for next week.
(Lewis) Did you pick up the evidence I left Monday.
(S) Yes. It is in locked storage. I retrieved the list you left.
(Lewis) Anything different about these people?
(S) No. We are continuing to search for evidence.
(Lewis) I will continue to make the drops each day. We had some big problems finding how to get around their booby traps on the packages but we did in time to deliver that first package. Since they use the same kind every time, it¡¦s simple now.
(S) I am glad of that. Thank you.
Harm asked Sarah, during breakfast, to call Mac and have her join in the dining room at 10:00 for a strategy meeting. Harm made calls to Top, Bud and Manetti requesting they do the same.

After Mac, Bud, Top and Manetti joined Harm, Sarah and Kate, they all sat down to coffee. Their duty was to figure what they were going to do and how they were going to use the evidence collected from the packages. They reviewed the list of evidence from the package carried by Lt. James to the 4 story building in Derby .
ľ Negatives of nude pictures (5 to a set) of 19 women and 5 men.
ľ $14,020 in American money.
ľ Small amount of white powder (expected drugs)
ľ Passport of one American female, Nila James.
ľ Two copies of an 8 cm CD or DVD disk.

Harm explained that the negatives were the real ones. The CIA had made others with hidden ID on them to put back in the package. Luckily the name and phone number was on each nude picture. It would be easy to check the list of JAG personnel and all dependants to find if any were involved. All pictures of Navy people would not be turned over to Scotland Yard or anyone other than the people themselves.
The American money would suggest that it was going somewhere where our money was in short supply but was needed for covert purposes.
The white powder could be drugs but that was out of our league.
A passport without a person could mean another woman in slavery.
One copy of the disk could be sent to have analyzed to find what was being given to someone.
It was anybody¡¦s guess what the schedule was all about.
After everyone gave their opinions and advice, the meeting was ended.
A conference call with SECNAV, MacDill, the CIA, and NCIS was made by Harm, Sarah and Mac and the evidence discussed. All four bodies had received a copy of the evidence list earlier. One copy of the disk was being Fed-Ex¡¦ed to CIA California to find what it contained. The best suggestion was to wait and find what the other packages would contain.
Before leaving, Mac reported to Sarah that teams were deployed this morning to start setting up the grid with the 14721 chips.
Northside Military Hospital
Friday, 7 October
09:30 Hrs.
Sarah met with Mac in her office and reviewed how construction of the grid was progressing. Some chips had not been placed because it would require intrusion onto private property. Sarah would need to find a way around that. Mac wanted to know when A.J. had left for Italy because she had enjoyed his company. Sarah found that they had spent time together more than once while he was here. What about that old bald-headed smoothie?

Even though Sarah had been having busy days, today was Friday and today was to be her last shots. She had stopped by to see Mattie and Geri before going to Dr. Simms office. Both girls arrived from re-hab a few minutes later and found Sarah waiting for them. After some family conversation, both girls asked if they could go with Sarah for the final shots. Sarah was surprised but pleased that they would want to be part of it. With the help of a couple of orderlies, they made their way to the office and Dr. Simms asked them all in.
Sarah undressed to put on the gown as the girls watched. Geri asked her how she got the dimpled and discolored area on her leg. Sarah took a minute to show the scar on her throat and the dimpled area. She told the story of her operation for problems with her throat and about being hurt by the crazy hillbillies while with Harm in his bi-plane. Mattie realized for the first time that she really didn¡¦t know much about the dynamic duo. She was going to need to pay more attention.
Both girls turned their heads as the long needles were used again for the injections. Thank God they were the final shots. Dr. Simms reminded everyone that Monday was the big day and asked them to be on time.
After getting dressed Sarah followed the girls back to the room. She told them about the excitement of Sunday night and Monday and how Harm had to fly the F-18 back to the carrier. It made an interesting story and the girls were impressed that the Blue Angels brought him home. Sarah told them that both she and Harm would be up Sunday if the girls wanted to have a picnic on the grounds. They both thought that would be real cool. After spending some quiet time and discussing the book that Sarah had brought them to read, she kissed them and left their room. She stopped by the nurse¡¦s station and got clearance to take the girls outside on Sunday in their chairs for a picnic. Sarah was told she would be required to call the nurse¡¦s station every 30 minutes for the time they were outside which she quickly agreed to do.

(S) Yes Allen, this is Sarah Rabb. Harm and I are planning on taking a picnic lunch up to Northside on Sunday and wanted to find if you, Linda and the kids would like to go with us. I imagine it will take most of the afternoon.
(Allen) I will need to discuss this with Linda when she gets home but I think it would be fun.
(S) We are usually back from church by 12:30 and could be ready about 13:15 if that would work for you two. You can come by the house and we will all go together in the Limo.
(Allen) I think we would like that. I will have Linda call you. Thank you.
(S) I will await her call. Thanks.

After riding around the grounds of the hospital for a few minutes, everyone agreed on the ideal spot for the picnic. Harm, Manny and Allen agreed to unload the lavish picnic goodies that Hazel had prepared and Sarah, Linda and the kids agreed to go get the girls. Allen sprayed the area for bugs and ants. Harm set up the folding chairs, laid out the table cloths and cushions on the ground. A cooler of cold drinks and coffee from a thermos rounded out what was needed.
It looked like a wheel chair race as the two girls came out of the building. They were so excited about being outside. Allen and Linda enjoyed seeing their two younger children interact with their big sister. Geri was so happy to see everyone and introduced her roommate to her mom and dad. Harm and Sarah sat back and enjoyed everyone and everything. Geri watched and her eyes expressed appreciation to Sarah for making this possible. Mattie eventually gravitated back to Harm and Sarah and asked for a hug from Harm. He did better than that by picking her up out of her chair and held her on his lap. He wrapped his large arms about her and she knew she was safe again. They stayed like that a few minutes talking until it looked like Mattie was going to drift off to sleep. Sarah came over and teased her a little to wake her up. Harm moved her back to her chair and went to get what she wanted to eat from the basket. Everyone dug into the basket and had their fill.
Harm and Sarah invited Allen and Linda¡¦s two youngest to come along and pushed Mattie¡¦s chair down around the lake to see the swans. Allen and Linda took advantage of this opportunity to lavish love and praise on Geri and stayed real close to her. Everyone was comfortable just being with the ones they loved. Love and communication was exchanged in many ways. Sarah had called every 30 minutes as she had been instructed and was told in the 17:30 call that the girls needed to be back before 18:00. Everyone accompanied Mattie and Geri back to their room and made sure they were comfortable there. After hugs and kisses around everyone started out of the room. Harm and Sarah kissed and hugged both and told them they were going to be back in the morning to watch the miracle. This had been a great day for everyone. Allen thanked Harm for the extra effort helping them to see their daughter.
Linda gave Sarah a special smile to convey her thanks.

10:00 Hrs.
As Sarah was changing out of the hospital gown, her mind reviewed what had just happened. The procedure was the same as before but Dr. Simms had taken longer, seemed a little rougher, but seemed more pleased with what had been obtained. Since Harm had insisted, he had been by her side through the whole procedure. He left little doubt with everyone that this was something they were going to go through together. She was pleased that their ¡§oneness¡¨ had no bounds. She reveled in the fact that their love and commitment had risen to this level. Now it would be his turn. She finished dressing in loose sweats and joined Harm in the doctor¡¦s office. Dr. Simms explained she thought they had obtained at least 2 more eggs and was ready for the next step.
She confirmed the digital microscope was going to be used and that everyone would be able to watch the miracle of conception take place.
The lab was to do the procedure after the girls were back from re-hab which was expected to be 11:30. She instructed Harm to go to one of the small rooms, used for that purpose, and bring back an ample supply of his sperm. She warned him to keep the glass at body temperature to keep the sperm alive. Harm blushed a little as Sarah told the doctor that since they were going through this together, she was going to assist.
As Sarah withdrew the warm glass from between her breast and handed it to the doctor, it became evident that Sarah¡¦s assistance had resulted in an overabundance of what was needed.
The doctor explained the sperm would now go through a washing process which was another way of saying separation of the strong from the weak. Since this process took a few minutes, Dr. Simms suggested they go get the girls ready to attend. When the girls entered their room from re-hab they found Harm seated in the chair with Sarah on his lap. They were holding each other and discussing what had just happened. If either girl had had any doubts, watching Harm and Sarah together put an end to those ideas forever.
After getting freshened up, the girls were ready to watch the miracle. Harm and Sarah each pushed a chair down to the room which contained the large display hooked to the digital microscope. Dr. Simms announced that they had harvested 5 more eggs and that 4 would be fertilized now for Sarah¡¦s procedure and the other frozen to make 3 for Harriett. They were a bit surprised when the girl¡¦s school teacher joined them. She felt this was too great to miss and would be class material for a long time to come. Four Petri dishes were put into the viewing area of the microscope. The first dish revealed one of Sarah¡¦s live eggs on the left side of the screen and the action started as Harm¡¦s sperm were injected into the dish. They watched as one was successful in piercing into the egg.
They watched as the same thing happened in the second, third and fourth dish. The first dish was placed back into view so everyone could watch for anything to happen. The egg seemed to be moving about a lot and getting a little bit larger. Their wait was rewarded as they watched as life took form as the cell split into two. They watched it happen in each petri dish to their amazement. After all had split, they checked the first to now find 4 cells. They watched until each dish contained 8 cells and the microscope was turned off to prepare for another procedure. They all understood that the cells would split many times before they would be implanted on Thursday. As they were preparing to leave, Dr. Simms came in to answer questions and handed Sarah a DVD with everything recorded on it for them.
Harm and Sarah invited the teacher to join them and pushed the girls by the canteen for some lunch before their school class would start. They all talked about how huge the experience had been as they ate. The DVD would need to be copied for the teacher.

Scotland Yard, Mr. Willow !
(S) This is Colonel Rabb. Does your jurisdiction extend to the city of Derby?
(Willow) Yes it does.
(S) I need your help with a building. We have followed the trail of evidence to a 4 story building at 1428 Parkway Place in Derby. The evidence was delivered and signed for on the third floor. We don¡¦t have anyway of knowing if the bad guys use the whole building or only part of it. If I am right, there will come a time that we will need to raid and detain everyone there. I need you to send people dressed as civilians, preferably seeking employment, to find how much of the building is controlled by the company on the third floor. I am sure there are several businesses there and we will not want to involve anyone who might be an innocent bystander to this.
(Willow) I can do that. It will take a few days and I will call you back.
(S) Thank you for your help. Hopefully we are going to put some bad people away soon.

Harm arrived home to have lunch with Sarah. He had something difficult to discuss with her.
(H) I received a call this morning from our insurance company. They want to total out the Corvette. Over here, because of the price of parts, it is worth more dead than alive. They have offered to pay $2,000 more than you paid for it. They say they can¡¦t guarantee the fiber glass repair here and they want us to be satisfied. It would mean that we would need to make do for a while with just the Limo and our SUV.
(S) Hon, we can get along for a while. Let¡¦s take the check. That will be one less payment we will need to make every month. Maybe we can buy another Vette the next time one of us is in the states. It is impractical anyway if we have kids. We will need another SUV.
(H) I think that is a good decision. I will call them back and tell them what you said. Thank you.
(S) What for?
(H) Joining me for this journey. This would have been really lonely without you.
(S) Come to me. (They hug and kiss)

Sarah was on a Gurney in the pre-op area feeling cold and naked. Harm had responded by finding some more thin blankets to cover her. She always felt so naked after being prepped which caused removal of all hair in the operating area. She chuckled to herself wondering how Harm would respond to the stubble later. The OR tech came in and checked and asked her the same questions she had answered 3 times before. She just knew Dr. Simms was going to ask them all over again when she arrived. It was amusing to her since it seemed either to make everybody familiar with her or to check if she really was who she said she was. After Dr. Simms arrived and asked the questions again, her gurney was moving toward O.R. with Harm walking along with her until he got to the white doors. He kissed her and told her that he and the girls would be waiting when she was done. She had to let go of his hand as the gurney moved into the restricted area. She counted from 99 backwards and became very warm and quiet at 93.
