Subject: winding yarn into a ball
In reply to: Lisa Hamblin 's message, "Re: tangeled yarn" on 22:51:44 01/13/12 Fri

I would like to know if there is different ways to wind a skein of yarn into a ball form. I would like to like to wind more than one skein of yarn so that I might be able to have enough of the same color have enough of the same color and be able to share space when storing. I would like to have the center pull and might be able have an oblong ball. I have noticed that if using a winder, the yarn forms a shape that isn't a complete ball.

Thank You,
Laura
