- pattern for a crocheted heart made with # 10 thread -- judy voelker (help), 21:06:25 02/17/13 Sun (173-224-26-49.ptcnet.net/173.224.26.49)
I have a heart made from #10 crocheted thread, which is about 3" tall. You start with a chain and then sl st into a circle and I think the first round is done with trc stitches and you use dc after that using one or two stitches in a chain to form the shape of the heart. It is so delicate looking. An edge is crocheted with white. I really would like to know if someone can help me get this pattern. It's perfect to send in an envelope in the mail.I would appreciate it so much.

HI all ,just wanted to say ,I have finally made the move to Lexington ,Mo. from the mountains of Pa. After retireing hubby and I decided to move to where his brother and family are and so we moved here about one month ago.I'm working on my craft room ,the last room to do. and it is taking me the longest, never had a craft room all of my own,LOLI had so much yarn I had to donate 5 garbage bages of it to the senior center here and the House of hope. I still have a closet full of yarn and thread. I can't wait to start on my deer doily I started a month ago. Now that I have finally found it,LOLIf there are any ladies here in Lexington,MO.who want a crocheting buddy please contact me,I don't really know anyone here yet. But I love to crochet ,found so many Barbie type dolls I had almost 100,and stuffed bears to make outfits for,Goodness I just can't part with any of them ,not yet anyway, was hoping to make pretty outfits and give them to little girls. I have no grandbabies of my own ,I miss little kids. I'm 62 now and hubby is 64,our only son is single at 39 and lives on the island of Key West ,in Florida. So I'm kind of like a fish out of water here right now. and could use some crochet friends ,Please. Hugs until next time Peggy8650/

Leftover Yarn Use: I have had best time using up all of my leftover yarn to make a multicolored caterpillar for my grandson. You can just keep on crocheting these caterpillar balls and legs, matching up wild colors until you get rid of all of your old yarn. It is hilarious! I got the pattern as a free gift from Charles Publishing along with a list of over 300 more toys to make. Their address is P.O.B. 577C, Weatherford, Texas 76086 Have fun!

You might try to do a rectangle granny square --
If you are doing a Variegated in the center and a solid on the middle-
I would alternate the two until you reached the size desired .
I have never thought about framing crochet as art but it sounds intriguing and I might even try it myself ...

Rnd 2 sc in both loops of next sc (sc in front loop of next sc, sc in back loop across to marked sc (so I am guessing this is to the end) then it says 2 sc in both loops of each next 2 sc, move marker to second sc of 4 sc just made, (sc in front loop only of next sc, sc in back only of next sc) across to last sc, 2 sc in both loops of last. My question is is round 2 actually 2 rows but considered 1 round. Please help

- 4 piece pram set_ divide for armhole -- Mary, 14:10:33 08/04/12 Sat (50-82-242-233.client.mchsi.com/50.82.242.233)
what this means is that you will be skipping over some stitches and rejoining further along the row to make the arm hole.
The pattern tells you to work 4 of the V-stitch, treble pattern, then work a V-stitch into the next chain space (on the shell) and instead of working a single treble into the double crochet - you are going to work 2 tr 1 ch into that dc. You're then going to skip 7 shell groups and rejoin into the the the next dc but working 2tr into it as you just did on the other side before you skipped the 7 shell groups.
This is going to make your sweater turn in effect so that you now have a right and left side front and a back on the garment.

For my whole life I looked forward to my retirement, when I could just sit around and do needlework all day. It's not quite that easy, but I do have a lot more time to crochet now. I dug out my very favorite patterns from the 70's and 80's that I've been saving and discovered that most of the yarns needed for those patterns have been discontinued! They didn't even list yarn weights, as we do now (3, 4, 4, 5 (chunky) etc.) Can anybody tell me what yarn to use for a pattern calling for Unger's "Fluffy"? And how about Bernat "Cool Crochet" light worsted weight yarn? Is there a book or key guide that I can buy that might guide me?

I have quite a few thread patterns, but am always looking for something new & unusual. Have been searching for Victorian High-top crocheted shoe patterns, done with thread. I saw some ornaments y-e-a-r-s ago hanging on a tree at Micheal's Crafts store about 10 yrs.ago. I'm interested in dimensional patterns, not flat. Haven taken some 'yarn' patterns & done them in thread to make ornaments. Anything anyone can come up with would be appreciated.

Hi
I am looking for a pattern for a crocheted baby blanket, done in a filet crochet. It has a stork in the middle and other baby items around it. It was most likely published mid 1990's.
I do have a photo of one I had made, but I lost the pattern :(

I have an almost full skein of yarn that is soooooo messed up it seems impossible. Too much to throw away, and I'd rather not cut a bunch of short pieces. Can this yarn be resqued Thanks, Becky
