I am really surprised you were not put in the "Guinness World Records" - according to http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/baby/babydevelopment/1496587.html, at 9 months a baby should be able to • Stands while holding onto something • Jabbers or combines syllables
• Understands object permanence • Cruises while holding onto furniture • Drinks from a sippy cup • Eats with fingers
• Bangs objects together • Plays patty-cake and peek-a-boo
• Says "mama" and "dada" to the correct parent.
Anyone that has a child knows that every child developes differently and at different times, I see there is no way that you were talking in complete sentences at 9 months - I am not going to judge you, because you only have to go by what you mother has written - I am surprised that since you where so advanced at the time in your life that you don't remember it all - that you have to go by what is written in a book, could your mother have written the wrong month? written it incorrectly? maybe exaggerated, just a little?
Kelly is a good mother and if there was something seriously wrong with Emma Kelly then I believe she would take her to the doctor. Emma Kelly is a heathy, happy baby that is developing in her own time and Kelly is doing a great job.
