Date Posted: 01/23/07 14:04 I've been playing guitar (mostly classical) on and off (mostly off) for 40 yrs. I have recently taken up the mandolin so that I could play melody lines with a traditional music group rather than always having to play rhythm guitar. Right-left hand coordination is proving problematic, particularly at speed. If I had my time over again I think I would have chosen the harp. My wife has recently started to play the harp. We hope to try some harp-mandolin duets eventually. There must be lots of harp-violin or harp-flute music we could try. Super site. Your enthusiasm is infectious! [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
