Jaws still gorged into the buck's flesh, Zev snarled and sharply jerked his head to the side, aiming to rip the chunk of meat out.

Dante growled and shifted a bit as the deer collapsed to the ground so he wouldn't get crushed. He clung on to her throat, even though she was probably dead, but hey.

Avery stayed in her position, jaws locked on the doe's hindleg (sorry! powerplaying, I know).
