How to become healthy (D378) -- tanveer khan, 13:07:22 04/16/08 Wed [2]

Everyone is familiar with all-out energy drain -- that exhausted day (or night) when no matter how enticing that new movie, fabulous shoe sale, or friendly barbeque, we just can't psych ourselves up to go.

What can be harder to recognize is a low-grade energy drain. In this case, you may not necessarily feel the classic signs of exhaustion -- like achy muscles or that all-over tired feeling. What you do experience is an increasing lack of get-up-and-go for many of the activities you used to love.

"You may also find it harder to concentrate on tasks, and, eventually, you can also find your patience grows short and your level of frustration rises, even when confronted with seemingly simple challenges," says New York University nutritionist Samantha Heller, MS, RD.

If this is starting to sound familiar, take heart. Energy zappers are all around us, some obvious, some hidden. The good news: There is a way around almost all of them.

To this end, we asked health experts to help compile this list of the top 10 energy boosters. Try one, two, or all 10, and you're bound to see your energy levels soar. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.nikharearab.com/healthtips.htm">http://www.nikharearab.com/healthtips.htm</a>

Slim Face Makeup.(WS3535) -- Asad, 06:00:38 06/06/08 Fri [2]

Purchase two shades of blush, one of a deeper shade and one that's lighter. To ensure the shades go together, purchase a compact with two coordinating shades.
Apply your usual foundation make-up or powder to cover any imperfections and even out your skin tone.
Apply the lighter shade of blush in circular motions onto the apples of your cheeks... how do you to find your apples? Just smile!
Next, following the line of your cheekbones, apply a sheer sweep of the deeper shade of blush.
Blend, blend and blend. The key with this trick is to create dimension, but you do not want a very obvious demarcation between your natural cheek color and the blush (i.e. think stripes!).visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/slimfacemakeup.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/slimfacemakeup.html</a>

Eat out On diet.(OP5808) -- Rashid Mahmood, 14:11:30 08/21/08 Thu [1]

One of the most common problems people have with losing weight is pitfalls like eating out. Here are a few ways you can control how much you eat:As soon as your food is served, ask for a box and put half of your meal into it, to take home. Restaurant portions are usually twice the size they should be anyway. Don't ruin a nice, low fat salad with creamy dressing. Go for the vinaigrette or oil and vinegar, and use them sparingly.
Don't let yourself down by getting (or sharing) a dessert. Order some fruit or Jell-O instead, if you must have something sweet. Arrive with a healthy meal in mind and ask for it without opening your menu. This will spare you the pain of looking at an array of temptation. After each bite, put your fork down, and don't pick it up again until you've completely swallowed the last bite. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/eatoutondiet.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/eatoutondiet.html</a>

Canada Pension Plan.(ws2436) -- salmanmarfatiya, 21:13:56 08/20/08 Wed [1]

Even if you have many years of experience, you do not automatically have the right to practise your trade or profession in Canada. In most cases, you will need to have your credentials assessed to see whether you need more training, education or Canadian work experience before being qualified to practise. You may wish to get your credentials evaluated before you leave for Canada. The following organizations can tell you how to get your credentials assessed. The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials Web site (www.cicic.ca) has information on academic and occupational credentials for all of Canada and lists nearly 200 professions and trades, in alphabetical order. When you click on your profession or trade, you will find a link to the address and telephone number of the professional or trade association, the addresses and telephone numbers of provincial evaluation services and regulatory agencies, and labour market information (for example, whether there is a demand for people with your particular trade or profession). Why stop on craving food (ws2436) -- salmanmarfatiya, 09:00:16 08/13/08 Wed [1]

Craving chocolate? Eat a banana. It sometimes satisfies the yearning for chocolate and is much less fattening. Chew sugarless gum. It speeds up the digestive system, burning more calories, and sometimes kills a craving. Exercise! Your appetite will temporarily subside and you'll feel better about taking such a proactive approach. Still craving chocolate? Try a magnesium supplement. Many women are deficient in this mineral, which is found in chocolate. Craving fatty foods? Eat fish, or take a fish oil or flaxseed oil supplement. You may be low in essential fatty acids. Grab something to drink. Sometimes, cravings for food are really thirst in disguise. Sweet tooth? Protein, fat and fiber keep blood sugar levels more even and help keep such cravings under control. Watch your caffeine intake. Caffeine seems to make sugar cravings worse. If your will power weakens at night, try leaving the lights on until the minute you go to bed. Dimmed lights tend to lower inhibitions. Turn off the lights in your kitchen and avoid hanging out there. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/stopfoodcraving.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/stopfoodcraving.html</a>

Clothes Styles and Body Shapes .(WS2124) -- Husnain, 16:25:43 07/14/08 Mon [1]

High collars shortens necks. Tight tops with short sleeves and breast pocket is detracting from your figure. Shoes with straps shortens your legs. The torso can be shortened or narrowed with seam lines, belts, bows, and collars. A short necklace can shorten your neck. A scarf or belt that hangs down toward the legs will make the legs appear longer. Knitted texture, lace, floras, prints, and plaids can assist in creating an illusion. T
hicker vertical lines in plaids lengthens and slims. Wear a larger print where you want people to look and smaller print where you do not want them to look. An all over print can camouflage figure problems, but prints here and there can create a fuller you. Prints around the neck and over the shoulder can make your shoulders appear wider. Just wear prints near the parts of your figure's assets, because they are usually more eye catching than a solid color. When buying pants be sure they fit well. Defects are emphasized in a pair of pants that may go unnoticed in a skirt. Petite women. Petite women need to keep clothes in line, slim narrow belts. A slight contrast in colors and fitted lines will flatter you endlessly. Also stay with fabrics that are soft and flowing that fits well. Over powering prints should be avoided. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/fashionforyou.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/fashionforyou.html</a>

How to speed up metabolism (d257) -- shama naz, 22:12:39 06/28/08 Sat [1]

Don't skip breakfast. You will lose weight more quickly if you have a bite to eat in the morning. Drink hot water with lemon Eat hot meals rather than cold. Your metabolism speeds up very slightly when you eat and again if the food is hot. Do at least thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise, five days a week. This will condition you to burn fat more efficiently. Don't deprive your body of carbohydrates, no matter what they say.
You need carbs for energy and will feel terrible without them. Wear a pedometer and see that you take 1,000 steps every day. If you have a sit-down job, get up every hour and walk around for five minutes or so. Dedicate two hours a week to weight training, concentrating on the larger muscles. The day you arrive in Canada Customs and immigration (es18) -- sumbla, 12:01:15 06/28/08 Sat [1]

You will probably find the entry procedure fairly straightforward because you have a passport and other essential documents

You will be interviewed by a Canada Customs officer. You will need to give the officer a list of all the household and personal items that you will be bringing into Canada.

You should also show the immigrant visa to the customs officer, who will refer you to an immigration officer.

The immigration officer will check your visa and travel documents and ask you questions similar to those on the Immigrant Application Form, to verify that you are of good character and in good health.

At this time, you may also be asked to show proof of your funds. If there are no difficulties, the officer will authorize your entry to Canada as a permanent resident by signing your Record
of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

If you arrive at one of the major Canadian airports, you will get a booklet called Welcome to Canada: What You Should Know.

It has information on most aspects of life in Canada. It also provides addresses and telephone numbers for:

immigrant-serving organizations acrossCanada;

language training assessment centres(which help eligible adult newcomers find free language classes);

useful federal and provincial government offices.

Finding a Job, building a future in Canada (ES18) -- sumbla, 18:10:37 06/26/08 Thu [1]

In Canada, full-time jobs are common. However, a growing number of people have part-time or short-term jobs.

Women make up a large portion of the work force and many have important, senior positions.

Canadians may change jobs and careers several times. This is often a personal choice.

Sometimes people must change jobs because the economy changes. For these, and other reasons, getting a job is not easy. Many people are looking for work.

Newcomers to Canada rarely enter the job market quickly and often must start with jobs
below the skill level they worked at in their home country.

Once they have Canadian job experience and their ability in English or French improves, so do their job prospects.

How you improved your Language skills in living in Canada: (es18) -- sumbla, 06:23:51 06/26/08 Thu [1]

It is important to learn English or French as quickly as possible.

Many newcomers begin life in Canada by looking for a job that will allow them to learn or improve their English or French.

The Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program gives eligible adult immigrants the chance to take basic English or French classes at no charge

People with foreign credentials need a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score to enter Canadian colleges and universities.Colleges and universities offering courses in French use various French language tests.

Regulated occupations in Canada usually require many years of education, training and practical experience, and the successful completion of a technical examination. Technical examinations to enter a trade or profession can be very expensive. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/language.htm">http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/language.htm</a>

Getting ready before you leave for Canada (ES18) -- sumbla, 08:57:33 06/25/08 Wed [1]

When you travel to Canada, you will need to have the following documents with you:

a Canadian immigrant visa and Confirmation of Permanent Residence for each family member travelling with you;

a valid passport or other travel document for each family member travelling with you;
two copies of a detailed list of all the personal or household items you are bringing with you; and

two copies of a list of items that are arriving later.

The lists should state how much your personal and household items are worth.

Make two copies of these lists - one for you to keep and one for the Canada
Customs officer. You can get the Canada Border Services Agency form for this purpose
from the Internet .

You must also bring with you enough money to cover living expenses such as
rent, food, clothing and transportation for a six-month period. You may be asked to

Hands beauty care your nails. (OD5001) -- IMRAN KHAN, 01:25:44 06/24/08 Tue [1]

Apply hand lotion and begin to massage the palm of your hand with the thumb of your other hand. This will help to circulate the blood. Work your way over the remainder of the hand and then repeat giving equal time to the other hand. Before color is applied to nails, they must be cleaned and the easiest way to do this is with an orange stick that has been wrapped with cotton. Dip into nail polish remover and then rub over the surface of the nail. Check the nail for any creamy residue. When none remains, your nails will be ready for polishing. Time for color. Pick up a small amount of polish on your brush and paint one stroke down the center of your nail. Your brush should hold just enough color to accomplish this. Stroke the sides of the nail and you are done. The nail should be completely colored in three strokes. Allow to set for a minute or so before applying the second coat. Wait until polish is set (dry to the touch) and then apply the top coat. Don't skip this step as it not only adds life to your manicure, it will protect your nails as well.
Sanitize all of your equipment with alcohol and when they are dry, store them away until the next manicure. Nail Tips: Nail polish can be stored in the fridge. If your nail polish is too thick, try thinning with a polish thinner. To prevent the cap from sticking, coat it with a little Vaseline to prevent this from happening. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/nailcare.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/nailcare.html</a>

How to speed up metabolism (OD030) -- Rahim, 10:16:08 06/20/08 Fri [1]

Every other day is optimal. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://nikhar-e-arab.com/spendupmetabolism.html">http://nikhar-e-arab.com/spendupmetabolism.html</a>

Legal rights for women in Canada.(WS3535) -- Asad, 11:50:07 06/11/08 Wed [1]

In Canada, women have the same legal status, rights and opportunities as men. Most Canadian men respect women as equals - socially, in the workplace and in the home.

Violence against women is against the law.

Women who are abused can seek help for themselves and their children in local shelters.

They are also entitled to legal protection to keep them safe.

Reduce Varicose Veins.(WS3535) -- Asad, 03:00:00 06/07/08 Sat [1]

Although varicose veins certainly lack popularity -- they are right down there with cellulite for the least desirable bodily attribute -- they are actually quite "popular" in that a great many people have them.Up to 30 million Americans have these ropey, bulging veins, usually on the legs. Women age 30 and older are most commonly affected, but no one is immune. Even Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones "can't get no satisfaction" -- he reportedly has calves crisscrossed by them. There are things you can do to reduce them:
Do regular exercise. Walking, running, cycling & swimming keep blood vessels healthy.
Stick to a high-fibre & low-salt diet. Kick off the high heels. Avoid tight-fitting clothings or undergarments that restrict blood flow at the waist, groin & legs (e.g. girdles, stockings & socks). If elastic stockings are recommended, wear them before getting out of bed in the morning. Don't leave legs crossed or bent for a long period. If work requires prolonged standing or sitting, move & stretch those legs, rotate ankles & wiggle the toes once in a while. Do leg stretching exercises daily. Raise legs above the level of the heart whenever possible. Rest those legs on pillows while sleeping. Stop smoking Although varicose veins aren't usually considered a significant health problem, they can make life miserable. "Varicose veins shouldn't be viewed as only a cosmetic concern," said Dr. Alan Hirsch, a specialist in vascular medicine at the University of Minnesota. Often, the discomfort over the veins' appearance is equalled by the aching pain they can cause, particularly after a long day of sitting or standing. In addition, the veins may signal a higher risk for other more serious blood vessel disorders. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.nikhar-e-arab.com/varicoseveins.html">http://www.nikhar-e-arab.com/varicoseveins.html</a>

Slim Face Makeup (OD2121) -- M Wasil, 11:59:02 06/06/08 Fri [1]

Tips which gives you more dashing rather then past (OD4564) -- qadir, 17:52:26 04/19/08 Sat [1]

Make-up timeline
To ensure your eyes stay healthy and free of infection when using make-up, heed the following due-date rules. Throw out your mascara after three months, powder eye shadows every nine to 18 months, and cream eye shadows every six to 12 months. Sharpen your eyeliners often to keep them clean

Mascara mistakes
To avoid mascara flake-off or smudging on your face, apply a thin cost of mascara to top lashes only. Then run an eyelash brush through lashes to prevent clumpy mascara build-up.

Get a rosy glow
Want your face to radiate a healthy glow? Try using a gel blush or cream (instead of powder) in a rosy shade of pink to create a more natural look. Gels or creams are more transparent and blend smoothly – rub it on the apples of your cheek and blend up towards the eye for a glowing complexion.

Minute manicure
Need a fast fix for unpolished nails? File nails into a square shape, buff them to create a bit of shine and apply a clear coat of polish. Next rub in cuticle oil around the edges of the nail and moisturize your whole hand. It takes less than 15 minutes and will give your appearance a polished look.

Brow etiquette
The trend in eyebrows for this season is natural looking, not sparse and skinny. Use a tinted brow definer or eyeshadow to fill in scanty brows.

Fix tired feet
Pamper your tired feet with a luxurious footbath. Fill a basin with warm water and add a few drops of essential oils. Next place marbles or small stones (found at your local garden centre) into the basin. Run your toes and soles of your feet over the marbles, and relax for 15 minutes.

Eye/lip pencil care
Before sharpening your eyeliner or lip pencil, place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They will harden slightly and not break when sharpened.

Eyeliner hint
Women with deep-set eyes should use liquid liner instead of regular pencil eyeliner, to prevent smudging in the crease of the lid. Liquid liner does not smudge as easily.

Nail polish know-how
Is your nail polish from last season too thick? Chances are the polish has begun to thicken at the bottom of the bottle. Add a bit of nail polish thinner to the bottle to get the maximum use of your nail polish.

Foundation tester
When picking out a concealer or foundation, always test the colour on the inside of your wrist. The skin there is the most unblemished and will give you a good idea of how it will look on your face.

Extend your foundation

Want to extend the life of your foundation and cut down on heavy concealer? Mix a drop of it with your natural moisturizer to create a luminescent look for your skin.

Curl your lashes
Before curling your eyelashes, heat the curler with a hair dryer for a few seconds. Test to make sure it is not too hot, then apply to eyelashes. The heat will lock in the curl on extra long eyelashes.

Foundation secret
Apply foundation to your face AFTER you have done your eye make-up. This helps you to fix any last minute smudging from mascara or eyeliner under the eyes.

Lipstick trick
Love matte lipstick, but feel your dry lips wreck the look? Apply a lip balm to lips before starting your make-up routine. By the time you have done your eyes and rest of the face, your lips will be moisturized and ready for the matte lipstick.

Manicure tip
If you have been sloppy applying nail polish, simply soak nails (when dry) in warm water for a few minutes and then rub off extra nail polish gently with a finger. visit: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.nikharearab.com/cosmetictips.html">http://www.nikharearab.com/cosmetictips.html</a>

Brief Information about Education Institutes of Canada (D378) -- tanveer khan, 10:39:12 04/09/08 Wed [1]

Try to stay open-minded and positive. Negative, rigid and inflexible attitudes decrease your ability to deal with the stresses of life and prevent you from enjoying yourself.

Get your zzz’s
Be sure to get an adequate amount of sleep each night. Fatigue can interfere with the information you have already stored and your ability to learn new things.

Beneficial B12
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to serious and irreversible physiological and psychological problems. Get your intake from foods of animal origin like meat, fish, eggs and dairy products.

Stress-free solutions
To combat stress, go outside for a brisk walk instead of smoking a cigarette. Reach for your running shoes instead of the TV remote or a chocolate bar. Regular physical activity (at least 30 minutes a day for most days of the week) and a healthy, balanced, low-fat diet will not only make you feel better but help you to better manage your stress.

Morning energy
Need a boost in the mornings? Time your coffeemaker so that the aroma of coffee coincides with your alarm. Sing in the shower. Use lotions with stimulating scents such as mint. Plan at least one fun thing to do each day. Eat breakfast. Listen to a radio station that makes you laugh – laughter is one of the best energizers around!

The day you arrive in Canada Customs and immigration (008) -- arsalan, 01:53:08 03/24/08 Mon [1]

* immigrant-serving organizations acrossCanada;
* language training assessment centres(which help eligible adult newcomers find free language classes);
* useful federal and provincial government offices.

LETS HIT THESE GAS COMPANIES HARD!!!!! -- ME, 11:01:36 04/30/07 Mon [1]

NO GAS...On May 15th 2007

Don't pump gas on MAY 15th

In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldn't) resend this to all your contact list. With it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

Thanx's

Stephen E. Fleming

I need help! -- Sarah, 07:44:43 08/16/06 Wed [1]

I am getting ready to compete in my first Mrs. pageant in September. I am not sure what to expect since I have never competed in a Mrs. division. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect in a Mrs. division opposed to a Miss division. Also, will my age hurt me? I have been married for a year and a half and I am 21. I have a career, but I also attend college full time. Any feed back will be greatly appriciated!

Thanks,
Sarah

Dear contestant or parent,

Thank you for your interest in the Miss October Festival Pageant. We have done everything possible to make this pageant one that you will enjoy and remember for years to come.
As stated in the liability statement, all of the judges’ decisions are final, however you will be able to speak to the judges after the event and look at your scores. This is something that will be beneficial to all of the contestants in improving their performance. The judges that have been chosen for this event have gone through an extensive training experience that has included a seminar/training session, orientation to the scoring system, requirements for all of the categories of competition, and practice with the staff of the pageant. All of our judges are quite experienced in pageants and “tell it how it is”; please respect their decisions.
Please remember that this event will start at exactly 10:30 a.m. whether all of the contestants are ready or not, so please make sure that you are on time and prepared for the pageant when it begins. Judging of the photogenic category will be held before the pageant begins, at 9:45 a.m.; if you are completing registration at the door and are competing in this event, please make sure you are there early so the judges have an opportunity to judge these categories fairly. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Please remember that the main purpose of this pageant is for the contestants to HAVE FUN! Although every contestant would like to win, that is not possible. We have made an effort to make sure that no contestant goes away empty-handed. Please make sure that you as a contestant or a parent are not interfering with the fun to be had by all. Again, thank you for your interest in the Miss October Festival Pageant. If there are any questions or concerns, or if you need detailed directions, feel free to contact the directors using any of the means listed at the bottom of this letter. We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,

Matthew & Jeanne Draper
