The charcoal hued stallion nuzzles the mare affectionately, watching Mystical Elegance go. “Nothing much milady. I fear the others have strayed beyond the boarders of our beloved home and been taken by wolves. A terrible fate, really. Perhaps I give them too much freedom.” He sighed and shook his head, wishing he had been there to protect them. He would give them a few more days to return, and if not, he would announce to the rest what had become of them.
“But worry not about them, milady. Now is a happy time, for you are with us again.” The wind picked up his mane and tousled his tail. He turned his head into the wind and captured the sweet aromas that it carried.
