The mountain. That glorious mountain. Once it was great. Once this land was controlled, peaceful. There were no races, no darks or lights, no tainted or pures. Though it was once ruled under a heavy thumb, all was fine. Until that day. That snowy day he came. Tuono. He was harmless at first, a little colt. Then suddenly, he grew up. Taking down the former ruler, the land erupted into chaos. He split the equine living on or near the mountain into two races. The kinder, softer were then called the Pures. The cold hearted killers were dubbed the Tainted. The Tainted despised the Pures. They were breathing their air, eating their food, using their land. The Tainteds decided to take action, rid the lands of the worthless Pures. One by one the Pures were slaughtered until only a handful remained. In their race for peace the Pures elected Puro their king. Suddenly, the race seemed to repopulate. The Tainted didn't like that. They sent Tuono after Puro, and after a long, fierce battle both ended up dead. Puro died of a severed jugular, Tuono bled to death. The two races seemed lost without their kings, and what seemed to be an eternal battle ripped throughout the mountain. Everyday fewer and fewer equines made it through the night. Rapes and murders became more common. Everything was total chaos. And to make matters worse the followers of Tuono created a group called the Chaos Band. It was a band of select equine, they raped mares, killed foals, and kidnapped colts for training. They planned on taking down the Pures. Their leader was Scuro. He is the mysterious Master Mage of Black magic. No one knows exactly where he came from, or what breed he is. And no one, but the members of the Chaos Band, know he's their leader... Along with Scuro he brought seven other Master mages. Fire, water, air, ice, earth, stone, and electricity. They would prepare the Tainteds and Pures for the long battle ahead. Soon, the Tainted elected New Moon, a fellow Chaos Band member, their king. The Pures have yet to decide their fate...
