Subject: News from New Orleans

Hi everyone, Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. We can use them. Well first of all we are ok. We have some damage. Alot of wind damage. Our problem here like all over New Orleans is that we are running out of gas, food and water. We are praying that they will get some more in. We was staying with my inlaws because they put power back on in there house soon. But with the ppl coming and stealing around here and shooting ppl we came back to our house. We are running on a generator. I just wanted to tell you all what is going on here. WATER is everywhere, Everyone is begging for food and water. There is alot of ppl that is missing and lot of ppl that have drowned. There is bodies floating all over. I cannot tell you how bad it is over here. We are all praying that all of this will come to an end. But as you can see it will be months before electricity even comes back on. My parents home was hit by a tornado. They was inside of the house. Thank god they are ok. They lost almost everthing. So everyones prayers are welcomed. Right now we are trying to use food and water sparely. That way it will last. I will try and keep you all updated as much as I can. The stuff you are seeing on tv is unreal but its what is happening here. All we can do most of the time is cry. We never thought it could get as bad as it is. I will keep you all posted as long as we have gas to run the generator. Thank you all again for you prayers and thoughts. God Bless.
