Oh Ronda! Thank God you & your family are OK! I've been so worried... I can't believe all of this... My beautiful city & it's people are dying. All I've been doing is crying & praying. They're opening a shelter at a church near my house, so Nathan & I are going to try & volunteer. The friends & family that I have in Slidell are OK. My uncle & his wife went to stay with thier daughter in Baton Rouge. Their condo's right on the lake, though, so they are pretty certain it was destroyed. Nathan's best friend's parents & their birds are in Savannah with their son. Their house was inland, so it's probably OK. We are just stunned by everything. You guys please be careful, & let me know if you need anything.

God Bless,
BirdMom ^i^
