Subject: OK this is just a story for today

I bought this very large pinata for Kanobi the goffin to tear. She loves eating her cage paper so I thought this would be great for her. I hung it on the play stand so it could be a shared toy with the birds. Well, she is scared to death of it. She goes as far away as she can so it won't eat her. LOL Now Tango (peach front conure) the little guy is totally in love with this large pinata. I thought he's be scared of it too. But Noooo! He hangs and flaps his wings with joy as it spins him around in circles. He also hangs from the bottom pulling it apart there. Then when he's ready to get off, he drops upside down and twists around in mid air to fly off of it. It's neat to watch him play so hard and just fly around with joy in his eyes. I tried to get a picture of him but he's way too quick now for the camera.
I may be getting another bird soon. Right now he's a baby in the nursery. He was born with a broken leg that didn't heal straight. Not sure of all the details? Anyway he's the cutest, sweetest little gold cap conure. I told her I was interested in him so the store owner wouldn't sell the cutie. He will get some more x-rays done and they will see if his leg can be fixed. If it can't be fixed, then that is still OK by me. His leg goes out to the side and it looks like he's always waving hello. He can also move his toes and grip your hand. Actually he uses that foot first to step up.
