Subject: Update from New Orleans

Today was horrible. We ran out of gas early this morning in the generator. So this morning we went to go get gas. The people were going crazy. They are limiting how much gas you can get. We put some gas in my new car and of course it had water in it. It left us on the road for 3 hours. We finally got it towed back home. Brent kept working on it till we got it running. The water is still not fully out yet. We are going to try and go to one of the local stores to see if there is anyway we can get some groceries. We still dont have power as of yet. Yes Mary it is so hot here. Its 94 out. I just had to spray bucky down with water. I saw one truck from FEMA with ice as we was sitting on the side of the road waiting for help. Its so bad the sheriff didnt even stop to help. Everyone is scared to help anyone around here, scared they will pull a gun out on you or maybe worst. I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. After what happened today I feel like I am going to have a breakdown. Its really sad. All i want to do is cry. I will try to get back online again I dont know how long our laptop battery will last. But please keep praying and I thank all of you.
