That is just too cute seeing the squirrel all bunched up inside the window feeder. I'm sure he threw most of the seed out? We have tons of squirrels too. When I first moved here I decided I would like to feed the wild birds since there were so many around. I hung a feeder up outside and the squirrels were the first to find it. So I went back to the store to get a squirrel proof feeder, needless to say it didn't work either. So I bought a metal pole to hang the new and improved squirrel proof feeder on. The squirrel's climbed the pole and still were able to get the seed out. Then I decided maybe if I put cooking oil on the metal pole the squirrels couldn't get up there, it also didn't work. They would slip and slide but still got up that greased pole. So I bought a metal skirt that clips onto the pole and finally my bird feeder is free of squirrels. I put corn out for the squirrels to eat below but they normally have to fight the crows to get it. Also the corn attracts the deer up into the yard too.
