Subject: Why do you say that?

Im curious? We wouldnt be working together, people go out on their own appointments they make, see their own clients, but I am curious as to why you said that? The problem I have with the place I interviewed at yesterday, is this.....Everything sounds nice, except, she only wants to train me for Medicare Advantage right now. Which is only a small commission. She says she has too many potential clients for that and not enough agents to cover. So if Im in a house, I asked her, and someone asks me about long term care for example, I have to tell them Im not here for that, and take some information, come to her after my appointment, she will train me fast on that topic, then I make another appointment to go back for that the next day. It limits me on alot of what I have a license to do. And she wont train until shes ready for you to move on to another aspect of it. And the training consists of this: 2 days, with her, in the office, role playing and reading, then Im off on my own to clients. I dont observe anyone with a client, I dont go with anyone or no one goes with me to a client, Im 100% alone. If I have a question I can call her cell. That isnt much training, this stuff is highly regulated by the state, and mistakes are costly. She said she's learned that if she goes with someone or pairs people up in the beginning, they dont learn as fast...wow. Those two things are what bother me about this job.
