Wow, you've had an eventful time, eh? I know it can be a tough call of what's serious and what's not serious enough for medical attention for ailments like aching muscles and joints especially with active kids. Don't beat yourself up. You're a good mom. Now you know what's going on and what course to take. You did nothing wrong, physical activity is encouraged to stave off the condition, along with meds.

My middle guy is a medical conundrum too. We've had several adventures trying to figure things out for him. The Medical Professionals are not know-it-alls. That's why parents need to be advocates for their child. Be persistent when you realize there is something wrong and the doctors dismiss or diminish your assertion. Keep pushing for answers.

Heretic has a good point too. It seems my son is developing a latex allergy. Bandages with latex have caused skin inflammation. And I can't use detergents with scents or coloring added. I know several others who have developed allergies to common household items.
