Subject: Lost Chapter 15

Lost chapter 15

I know it's short, but I needed to write one last chapter to end the story and thought this would be a good way to end it.

Mistakes are mine, the character's are not.


La Jolla, California

Harm and Mac walked hand in hand along the beach as the sun was about to set. It was the last night there, and they wanted to have one final walk before leaving and going back to D.C. The stay had been wonderful, and Harm was happy that Mac and his Mom and stepfather got along so well.

“You're quiet,” Mac commented.

Harm stopped and turned to her. “I'm just happy.”

She smiled as she put her arms around his neck. “I'm happy too.”

“I've been thinking about us and what's next for us,” he admitted.

“You have?” she was surprised. “And what do you think should be next?”

He held a ring in front of her, which made her let go of him and step back. “Harm?”

He got down on one knee. “Sarah Mackenzie, you are the most spectacular woman I've ever met, and I love you. Will you marry me?”

“Yes,” she said and got down to his level. “I love you too.”

Harm slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her deeply. “I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Mac couldn't believe how romantic he was. “Me neither.”

They stood and Harm hugged her close. “My Mom is going to go crazy when we tell her.”

Mac laughed softly. “So will Harriet.”

Harm smiled as he let go of her, took her hand and started walking. “What kind of wedding do you want?”

“I don't now. As long as we're both there that's enough for me,” she said with a cute smile. “To be honest, I don't want a huge wedding.”

“Do you want a long engagement?” He wanted to know.

“No, I'm ready for this Harm,” she said and tugged his hand to make him stop. “I want babies.”

Harm smiled widely. “I think we can make one or two of those.”

They shared a sweet kiss, then it turned heated and they ran back to the house.
