Subject: May Challenge

This month's challenge comes in the form of one word "Goodbye".

Goodbyes can be permanent, like graduating from high school or leaving for a new duty assignment. Or they can be temporary, when a parent leaves for work, being assigned a TAD, a child on his first sleep over. Goodbyes can be happy, sad, bittersweet, depressing, cause for hesitation, questionable and even unexpected.

Your challenge this month is to write a story where some type of goodbye is involved. And remember whenever there is a goodbye it's usually followed with a HELLO. When you post your story be sure to put May Challenge in your message subject.
