Subject: Balloon Fest. Pageants

The University Motors Mountaineer Balloon Festival TEEN and QUEEN pageants will be held on Sat. May 3rd in Morgantown at South Middle School. Coronation for the 2008 titleholders will be Oct. 4th, 2008 during the Balloon Festival at Mylan Park. At that time our new titleholders will also have their hot air balloon ride.

OPEN STATEWIDE!!! We will refund you entry fee if you win another F&F title before ours!

Teen pageant is for young ladies 12-15 as of pageant day. Teen will win a cash prize, a custom made sash, beautiful crown, and additional gifts. Don�t forget the hot air balloon ride! Entry fee ~ $65.00

Queen guidelines are: must be a resident of the state W.V. and a U.S. citizen. She must certify to have never been married, had a marriage annulled, and/or never given birth to a child. She must be 16 years old by Jan. 1, 2009 and no older then 21 years old by Jan. 1, 2009. Our queen will win an all expense paid trip to the 2009 WVAFF pageant in Charleston. $500.00 cash, a custom made sash, beautiful crown, and additional gifts. Remember part of your prize package is a hot air balloon ride with you �little sister�- the new Teen Queen! Entry fee~ $100.00

New in 2008 to our festival will be pageants for young ladies from ages 3-11. Pageant date: 10/4/08

On a final note, I just want to say how proud I am of my very first titleholders! Roseanna Hale is a remarkable young lady who I have come to love over these past few months. Both she and her mom are a blessing to myself and the Balloon Festival. And my Teen Queen Hannah Perry is a sweet and talented young lady who I am so very thrilled to have in my life. Thank you girls for epitomizing the best of West Virginia pageantry.
