So this winter, would you think it would be better to bring them in my house again like last year, or should I put them in my greenhouse? I think in the greenhouse they might stay green and not go dormant like in my house, but not sure. I wouldn't do that every year, but thought it might give them a little more grow time.

Oh man, could you imagine a nice planted aviary in my backyard with plumies in full bloom, javas, and buttons? Oh my gosh that would be so cool!!! I loved the set up I saw in Charleston. They had a huge greenhouse and lots of small birds in all the flowers, and buttons were laying eggs everywhere. But I never saw the first button! Very good hiders!
