Yes they do like to peck at everything and are extremely curious. Right now because it's only the two of them, they are still very shy. When they were in a huge flock, the protected feeling brought out their curiosity more and they would come right up to you and almost surround you....there's NO WAY I will have that many of those monstrous birds....Emu maybe, but still not that many.
