Subject: Emu eggs on the way :)

Yep, the Emu eggs are on the way. I have a feeling that I will raise and be able to work with the Emus much more than the Ostriches just due to the differences in the two and of course sheer size. I think the Ostrich is a much more graceful looking animal, but the Emu eggs are so great as decoration. If you can learn the art of etching into the egg shell.....it is so thick and so dark green that it gets about 10 shades light the deeper you etch into the shell and lately I am seeing some serious talent with art work being drilled into the shell. It's almost a full petting zoo now....except like in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldbloom's character counters the comparison to Disneyland and says...YEAH but if the ride breaks down on the Pirates of the Caribbean, the pirates don't eat the guests! I'm along those lines, until I can breed the Ostriches and have the chicks from day 1....THEN I may be able to allow petting from the other side of a fence....for now they will just be eye candy.

It’s Never A Dull Moment!
