Stephanie, that was such a nice post. It captures the true essence of fairs & festivals pageants in my opinion.

I've seen so many girls blossom with this system, and it's because of the friendly nature of the competition, and the real reason we all have these pageants to begin with - to choose a young lady to represent our fair or festival, not to merely go on to another pageant.

I'm looking forward to meeting you in January. I'm a hostess for the Miss WV Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant, so I'm sure we'll see a lot of each other! :)
