Thanks Sephanie, you are so right. Some of the best times I have spent with my daughters and now grand daughters have been at pageants they have competed in. My daughter Ashley Marshall started pageants when she was four years old. She started exhorting in our church at the age of nine. She has traveled to 26 states and 3 countries on her own and she is only 19 years old. She is now a sophmore at Howard University in Washington, DC majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in French. And is also this years Director of J.H. Johnson School of Communications Pageant, which will be held September 12, 2006. I couldn't be more prouder of her, can you tell :) But it all started out with pageants, where she learned poise, self confidence, interview skills and sportsmanship. So yes mothers Stephanie is correct, pageants can lead your daughter to success and turn her in to a great woman.
