I was in Nelson House, the housemaster was a tall stocky bloke and I used to wind him up something rotten. His wife and the matron ( Ping-Ping?) where decent people.Despite doing well in the plumbing shop, with Mr P; I went straight into the Merchant Navy and apart from a few hic-ups (Hindly Borstal) on the way, life hasn't been too bad. I met' Scouse Graham' in the 70's and he worked in the demolition with me for a while, sadly he passed away in 1976.There are quite a few other faces I can picture, but their names have passed me by. I remember Mr. Cooper, he took me to my first ship. memories'''
