We were all there for three months,,4 groups ,,red green blue yellow,,,i was number 40 out of 40 lads ,,red group,,from blackburn lancashire,,,those banner jeans,,duncan in the kitchen,,with his mini,,mr garner the photographer,,mr gee,,big guy ,, he was ok ,,if you were a smart ass you got a crack,,we were there in winter,,, fucking freezing,,i remember we locked our selfs in the class rooms ,,,because blue group lost there home leave,,we didnt last that long,,bastards turned the power off,,so it was stay there and freeze or go back to the dorm,,which we did,,mr griffiths was the boss at the time,,,,but were else do you absail,,gorge walk,,make boats,,pin pictures,,raven crag,,barrow in furness ,,helvelyn,,,,the lads in red group,,,,were douglas ,,martin horne,,ward,,drummond,,simon arddon,,me mahoney,,,,i cant remember anymore,,warrick and bell used to be the main men then,,,mr english wasnt too bad either,,well sad to say,,i was still a little twat when i left,,,,its all part of lifes little lessons,,,now ive got my shit together,,grown up,,kids,,mortgage,,but i do have to say ,,,looking back it was a place ill never forget,,,it wasnt that bad
