Thank God my experiences were nothing like that. Get yourself a solicitor and write everything down while you can remember it. Any decent law firm should do it on a no win no fee basis I'd have thought.

I think this sort of thing happened to the *softer* lads. No offence, but I could never have let this happen to me without doing something at the time, even if it meant fighting them off. I guess if there ever were any weirdos so inclined to molest me, my aura scared them off. For that I would be eternally grateful. Or maybe I was just one of the lucky ones?

Anyway I do speak from experience when I say how hard it is to talk about if this kind of thing happened to a child!

I was about 13 or 14, regular pub goer with family and friends, the old brown ale days, yuk! Anyway I was on the run and living rough out of neccesity, and on guy, a regular invited me to stay where he was staying in some derelict bungalows. P'ing down and horrid out..when we got there, just sitting down having a fag and a drink. he started getting his chooper out and invited me to play with him!! I said sod that and walked off, luckily he never followed or anyhting (he was about 30 I'd guess).... I never mentioned it ever to my dad or anyone, they'd have kicked his head in which is what should have happened. But I dunno if it was embarrasment or what, but I just pushed it to the back of my mind and let it stay there. even 10/15 years later I think I saw the same guy, and STILL never did or said anyhting!! So if anyone wonders why these people get away with this kind of thing, we just dont know!!! Luckily my case was mild. I really feel sorry for those who were abused, and often, yet still cannot talk about it. Terrible thing.
