Hi Helana, P;eased to find you in here, was this the only related site you found? (it wqas the only one I found) Congrats to the site builder, pity more did not begin sites this is an issue that impacted Millions of children throughout history.
I was dumped into so called care under a care and protection order in 1974. I was placed in Whiteabbey Girls Training School with violent offenders and "real" young offenders.
I have built a site and am including it in search engines tonight, I have also written to this site as I included them because there simply are not enough sites online to cover these issues.
I have linked also to all government and independent bodies reports on Borstals, Training Schools ect which really are child prisons by any other name.
