**Lucian stared off for a moment before she came up to him and placed her dishes in the sink, then felt her reach for his hand. Letting her grasp his hand, he gave a light squeeze and looked upon her, his dark brown orbs showing a faded, old sorrow.**

"I just... don't want to screw up again..."

**The last bit was hard to spit out, but he was being completely open with this woman... Lucian wanted her to know everything about him, wanted her support... he just wanted to be loved and trust without fault.**

"I mean, it must've been something about me to have her go sleeping around on me..."

**Did she trust herself enough? He knew she had those thoughts, being untrusting of herself. He could tell that she had questioned herself on that subject through the day... Maybe it was just things moving fast. He just wanted to forget about the last woman, but he hadn't yet.**
