Hey Thanks Guys,
Right now Rita is in the same latitude with Brownsville Tex, but the projected path takes it north west which would take it to Galveston and surrounding areas.
Of course if it decides to turn directly west it will hit where I live, but that is very unlikely. If it hits Galveston, the most we'll get down here is Tropical Storm winds.
Galveston is 367 miles from where I live.
Hey Happy, I wish I had some of those uncashed checks, most of the time they are gone by the time it gets here.
Anyway, if I see it coming this way, I'll hit the road. Thanks , Rigo
