Brady,

The UHF has never wanted a Non-trasferable permit system, infact, I blew the rear seal out of my truck this morning at 5:30 on my way to St. Pete for the FWC meeting, just this side of Orlando, had to limp home!

Jim is at the meeting and is making sure that this new Ruling is in fact this way, The wording isn't clear so we hope to make it clearer for everyone to understand it's meaning! Last thing we need is hunters getting in trouble due to language, but we think this will help spread the permits out better, as for trying to get this on all WMAs that use quotas only to hunt, we're going to look into this! If it'll get more hunters in the woods we're for it.

I've checked the sign in sheets on the WMAs in my area (Brevard) and the Hunting is at 25% of their aloted hunts, that's less then 40 hunters each hunt of 150, in three years I've yet to see 50% reached, so maybe this will help bring it up and put more hunters in the woods!

I'd like to see the FWC seperate the Muzzleloader from Archery and give it its own season, that would give us more oportunity to get hunters in the woods.

Alot of these type things can be done, it just takes time and communication from Hunters as a group, to many times hunters try and go it alone and get agrivated and give up or don't relize what their asking for, things like getting Seminole Ranch Gun season changed from Shotgun only to Rifle, I've been working on this for a couple of years and have the FWC making the change in the Next cycle, Just by showing them that Muzzle loaders have more accuracy and shot distance then shotguns today, consiquently got them to agree this rule was out dated and whould need to be changed!

Unfortunately, it's been an uphill battle to Unite Deer hunters in the way Turkey or Duck hunters unite and work together, But we're not letting that slow us down!

Mark
