I love Florence Warner. I fell in love in 1974 when first I laid eyes upon her lovely, innocent-appearing countenance on her 1974 album. Thirty-one years later, I still love Florence.

Why can't anyone find her?

Bill! Hi! It's Susan from PRT. I can't believe I found you here! I must say it's a bit of a disappointment reading your words; I thought I was the one you loved all along, but you were married, and I found a man with a bicycle repair shop and moved East, and -- and, as they say, there's a "rest of the story", some happy, some not so happy, but, oh, how I wish we could return to those days of 1974.

Do you ever hear from the old gang? I'd love to see some of them again - most of them, in fact. I wonder about them all when my thoughts drift back. Is Mary Alice still working the Leave and Attendance Section? Has Doug hit a lick of state work yet? Is Tom still perfect?

Please send me an email.

Oh, yes, this post was about Florence Warner. I remember you kept that album in your lower right-hand drawer at all times. When someone would come in complaining to you or griping about something, you'd listen quietly with a smile, and, if it happened to be an insoluble problem, or one which you couldn't help fix, you'd reach into your drawer and pull out that album. You'd show it to the visitor and ask, "Isn't this beautiful?" You'd say, "Just look at that sweet, pure, innocent face." For a long time, I'd hear you say that, and silly me, I thought you had a picture of me in there.

Say hi to everyone if you ever see them. I'm afraid to ask about Tip.

Susan - We all loved you. I loved you most of all, but I was married and couldn't show it. We loved Florence from afar, but we loved you right up close! It was better that way.

Come back to me.

Susan, I tried to shelter you from all the PRT foiables, but I think I may have been unsuccessful. I may not still be perfect, but I'm trying. I have no vices and no faults, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect.

How many times I tried to get Bill to take that album home. I mean, the man was married, and he was lusting (or at least he appeared to be) over a young thing's photograph on a record album. My goodness, and my word! What are the chances we could all get together again?

And, oh yes, I can still eat all I want and stay just as trim... and I still hold up the bottom of my necktie and wipe under it.
