From how I read this, it appears that Juan was ready to deal Zach Parise, but wanted you to make an offer to him. You have since stated you would trade Kovalchuk for Parise, and if I'm reading this correctly, Juan can either accept or decline that offer.

His initial trade that he offered was Frolov for Gagne, and was willing too trade for Praise, not would.

As much as I'd like to screw Juan for his stupid trade proposals, I'd have to say it's up to Juan to decline or accept this offer made by Chris.
