Date Posted: 12:36:13 04/19/06 Wed Author Host/IP: 64.114.88.154 Here they are boys... Copy them or you will lose! (1) Ott vs. (8) TB Tampa Bay has no shot in hell of winning this one. Their damn underachieving "stars" have sucked it up all year... they all dissapointed in the olympics and they are sure to dissapoint here. Ottawa is just too strong in the east to lose to those mediocre fools. Ottawa in 4 (2) Carolina vs. (7) Montreal This will be the upset of these playoffs my friends. Carolina's inexperience will come back to hunt them, and this will be the start of a great playoff run by the Habs. Carolina has been strong all year but Staal will probably choke in the playoffs now that he has carried my roster all season long. I say Aebischer carries Montreal just like he helped carry the Swiss in the olympics. Sure, Gerber was there, but since he's not with the Ducks anymore, he'll choke. By the way, Carolina swept the season series 4-0. Montreal in 7 (3) New Jersey vs (6) New York Here is the most exciting series of the first round my friends. Joisey has been there many times, while the Rangers haven't been to the big dance in 12 years. This one's a tough one to pick. New Jersey is absolutely on fire, while the Rangers had a mediocre end to their regular season. The Rangers however have some former Ducks like Ozolish, Sykora and Rucchin. That probably not enough cuz of two words... Scott Gomez. He brings a Spanish thing that New York just can't handle, and if New Jersey goes anywhere after that it'll be because of him. He is my hero. New Jersey in 6 (4) Buffalo vs (5) Philadelphia Both of these teams are pretty deez. Buffalo won the season series 3-1, but Philly's got Forsberg and if Nittiymaki (sp.?) plays like he did in the olympics then Philly could make some noise. Buffalo just doesn't have the experience or the playoff success that some of those Philly guys do. Therefore... Philly in 5. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
