Since Marvin Candle wasn't really familiar with the internet, I'm guessing that the cameraman gave him the info. I also think it sounds like Faraday, who somehow was in the past. This video takes place before Candle's damaged arm.

I'm guessing he lost it in an experiment rather than during the purge, because I would think he'd go into hiding after the purge?

"Marvin Candle" is becoming an intrigueing "sideline" character - it would be cool to see more of him in Season Five.
