I was so happy when Desmond said it! *grin*

"Leader stuff" from Hugo about the Jack/Locke talk could also have been my choice and I'd love to have more words to use "time travel bunnies" from Ben.

Brilliant finale. So many puns, echoes and poetic licence.

I loved the way Ben moved the island, it was perfect...and again with the Alice-In-Wonderland subtext (the white rabbit on the tape, the hole going so deep you go through the looking-glass).

And Desmond got hurt on the head again but survived. The Desmond/Penny reunion scene was sweet, not too sappy or too heavy, just right.

Was Sun hinting at him when she told Widmore they weren't the only ones who left the island?

Will Desmond have to go back too and leave Penny?

The minute he went into the helicopter I knew Sawyer would do something heroic(first I thought he would just leave the room for Sun)and when they showed the leak it was obvious HE would jump. You'd expect from season 1!Sawyer to be selfish and bitch about the fat one but this Sawyer would never say that HIS Hugo was too heavy. But poor James now thinks that they all died on the boat.

And Locke aka Boxman being in a box again, his last box!

But did he really leave a teenage son or was the obituary a total fake?

Desmond and Frank are exempt from the "you ALL have to go back" statement. Bear in mind, it's the Island that wants Jack and co back - Desmond and Frank were both sent there, however indirectly, by Charles Widmore. If he is the Island's "enemy", why would it want them to return?

But seeing as they're two of my favourite characters at this point, I hope (and I'm fairly certain) that they get dragged back into the saga as Jack and Co search for a way to get back. At the very least, Desmond and Penny aren't "finished" yet - Ben's got bloodlust in his eye for her, and that man will not stop until he or Penny is dead.
