At least for Penny and Desmond, and I'm not sure, but I think Locke was subletting from Ben.

There are so many obvious things to say about this ep. so I'll just say that the Others dude and the rest of them are really freaking me out. Especially with the whole time warp issue. I don't want to go to far into spoilers in this post, so I'll just hold off until the am.

Because that's exactly what I feel like drinking after this... All I can really say right now is "wow!" In typical Lost style, they answered all the questions we had about this season, but in the process asked about seven times more. Love it!

I'm glad you're gone.

I guess Jin and Claire truly are dead, huh? Is Jack the other person Sun blames for his death? I really hope they aren't going to pair Sawyer and Juliette up now that those two think Jack and Kate are dead. What bad things happened on the island after the O6? Where's Faraday, does he get back?

I am so happy about Desmond surviving and getting to Penny that Jin's (and Claire's?) death hasn't really bothered me. Yet! As for Locke, I won't miss him yet because he's only dead in the future so we'll still see a lot of him in current Island time.

Claire's not definitely dead is she? Did I completely miss that? I'm really worried that Sun is going to join the dark side too.

But since Kate saw her in that dream (and sudden appearances are usually people that are dead, such as Charlie and Christian and Yemi), and her fate seems to be up in the air, along with that casting rumor... it doesn't look good for her.

That Emilie de Ravin's only gone for one season, and she'll be a regular for Season 6. I doubt Claire's dead - the vision Kate had of her was a dream, which strikes me as more of an "astral projection" type situation (Claire's still on the island, but she somehow manages to communicate with Kate on a spiritual level) than that she's dead and her ghost is merely wandering the Earth.

Besides, I don't think they'd kill her offscreen. That would just piss everyone off!

I thought about that girl too but I believe that Juliet is supposed to look "just like her" and I don't think that Charlotte and Juliet look alike.

Especially because the age difference could be do to the time warp issue. Anyway, someone else posted it and I just thought it was rather interesting. What a hell of an episode to ponder. Now we've got the long wait.

I'm pretty sure that Sawyer's daughter is going to be mentined again too. The things he whispered to Kate's ear before he jumped, the stuff Kate told Jack she had to take care of for Sawyer before they split, it must have been about his daughter.

Ben's canon age is 41, Charlotte's is 25. There'd have to be some *seriously* funky maths going down. Besides, I think if Charlotte was really Annie, Ben would've twigged.

The best theory I've read so far is that Charlotte is Ben and Annie's *daughter*. I still would prefer Charlotte to have some other significance outside of the Dharma Initiative, but this seems to me the most likely explanation.

I like the idea of Charlotte showing up when Alex disappeared...as a replacement, because the show is based on such symmetries, but now that Ben is off the island it doesn't seem that interesting to have his daughter there.

And why would Widmore have sent her?

... then there's a good chance Widmore doesn't know who she is. After all, Ben gave a pretty detailed factual background on Charlotte in "Confirmed Dead", one that was passed onto him via Michael. If she is Ben and Annie's daughter, someone went to a lot of trouble to disguise that fact, and I'm willing to bet Widmore has no idea who she *really* is. Then again, how coincidental is it that Ben's daughter just "happens" to be part of the crack team of superscientists Widmore sends to the Island?

But if her mother was Dharma he must have known!

Do you think that Annie died giving birth to her but they could save the baby and Ben managed to get his daughter off the island without Widmore knowing it? But he would have known he had a daughter then...and he would have kept an eye on her. Or did Dharma saved her but lied to Ben like Roslin lied to Sharon and Helo ? :- )

Was she even born on the island like Aaron?

Perhaps we don't have to take what she said literally but metaphorically.

Let's not forget that Miles hears the dead...

I just assumed it was one of the dead that told him (mayhaps Danielle, or Alex?)! My personal against-all-odds theory is that she's one of the "Hostiles", but through some odd set of circumstances she left the Island decades ago, reinvented herself as Charlotte Lewis (maybe even taking the place of the real Charlotte?) and went about that way. That might go some way to explaining how, at only 25, she's one of the world's leading anthropologists. Most people in that line of work have barely finished phDs and so forth at 25!

I was so happy when Desmond said it! *grin*

"Leader stuff" from Hugo about the Jack/Locke talk could also have been my choice and I'd love to have more words to use "time travel bunnies" from Ben.

Brilliant finale. So many puns, echoes and poetic licence.

I loved the way Ben moved the island, it was perfect...and again with the Alice-In-Wonderland subtext (the white rabbit on the tape, the hole going so deep you go through the looking-glass).

And Desmond got hurt on the head again but survived. The Desmond/Penny reunion scene was sweet, not too sappy or too heavy, just right.

Was Sun hinting at him when she told Widmore they weren't the only ones who left the island?

Will Desmond have to go back too and leave Penny?

The minute he went into the helicopter I knew Sawyer would do something heroic(first I thought he would just leave the room for Sun)and when they showed the leak it was obvious HE would jump. You'd expect from season 1!Sawyer to be selfish and bitch about the fat one but this Sawyer would never say that HIS Hugo was too heavy. But poor James now thinks that they all died on the boat.

And Locke aka Boxman being in a box again, his last box!

But did he really leave a teenage son or was the obituary a total fake?

Desmond and Frank are exempt from the "you ALL have to go back" statement. Bear in mind, it's the Island that wants Jack and co back - Desmond and Frank were both sent there, however indirectly, by Charles Widmore. If he is the Island's "enemy", why would it want them to return?

But seeing as they're two of my favourite characters at this point, I hope (and I'm fairly certain) that they get dragged back into the saga as Jack and Co search for a way to get back. At the very least, Desmond and Penny aren't "finished" yet - Ben's got bloodlust in his eye for her, and that man will not stop until he or Penny is dead.

Ack, I meant I loved the bunnies! I loved that I assumed they were trying to clone them long ago in that online video. I don't read enough spoilers to realize that it was time travel.

The season finale was fabulous. Loved that they answered the question about who was in the coffin.

I did prefer the emotional finale of last year though. Cried like a baby when Charlie drowned.

The Desmond/Penny reunion had me in (manly) tears! Not to mention the possibility of Jin being dead... I was shrieking right along with Sun!

Then again, I was never that fond of Charlie, it was a great way for the character to "bow out", as it were, but I can't say I miss him :)
