Subject: Two Words? (where is everybody anymore?)
Havn't seen the ep, but I read the recap. My other half fell asleep and forgot to tape it, but I'll watch it online later tonight.
Season 4 has been the most exciting since the first part of season 1, I'm really surprised at the lack of chatter here on the board.

I don't like him. I wish he hadn't killed the captain. The hit-and-run seemed awfully convenient, I wonder if we'll find out who was driving. What is up with Alpert?? And I was glad to see Claire but I felt bad for Sawyer who is probably going crazy wondering. Is this how Claire and Aaron got separated?

Claire freaked me out in that she was so friggin' calm and not at all worried about her baby. I am certain at this point that there is some sort of time "vortex" of sorts. I think the moving of the island has to do more with time than space ie. move it out of sych in some way.

Jaw-dropping. I agree - Claire creeped me out. THe whole cabin thing is freaky. Some cool reveals about Locke's origins. I even had a little sympathy for the devil (Ben). The candy-bar sharing was so Hurley.

Is it wrong of me that I'm totally psyched that Cane tanked, because it means we got Nestor Carbonell back?
The Locke flashbacks were definitely intriguing, my one problem with that part of the episode remains that I really despise Locke! I know I have to get over it, he's an incredibly important character, I just... well, I hate him!
Loved the Freighter stuff, if only because we got to see Desmond (!) again. Too bad the hot captain got murderlised, but looks like we might be getting some traction on that storyline at last. Although, at this point, I'm wondering why the big bother in bringing Michael back, they've done next to nothing with him since the reveal...
Claire and Christian in the cabin - I hate that they finally give Claire another storyline and it involves her being offscreen (again, some more)! Still, that was definitely my favourite part of the episode :)

I've never found him a particularly engaging character, and despite all the stakes involved with his storyline (Walt, The Freighter peeps, Desmond) I just don't care enough. On the one hand, I hope it *is* him in the coffin because it means he's dunzo (as the kids on Laguna Beach say), but on the other hand I hope it isn't because how much of a non-twist would that be?!

I just loved how Ben said that.
My love for John Locke is back! Such amazing eyes!
The episode was very good. I love the echoes from previous episode and all the continuity stuff like a scene opening with John's eyes or young Locke already liking to play games, or teenage John being locked in a box a!
Of course young John should have chosen the comics about mystery tales and the "hidden land" instead of the knife...but he was a nerd who wanted to be a tough manly guy.
John Locke is hot!
And we got to see a little of Desmond...and Sayid on the zodiac was hot too.
