Subject: Air Assault Badge

I served with A Co 101st Avn Bn 101st Abn Div from Jun of 1967 until Dec of 1968 and if landing on the roof of the American Embassy during TET and numerous visits to the A Shaw valley doesn't qualify I would sure like to know why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to fight for this just like we have had to fight the VA for what was due!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does for the one who were there.. I was with co.C(Black Widows) 101st at Phu Bai at the airport and also made many trips to the valley and Lam Son 719, as you know CCN MLT-2 with the special forces at Quang Tri were just like family to all of us. We may have been forgotten by others but not the ones who were really there in our hearts and minds.
