You were not a 11B. If you wanted to be an 11B all you had to do is raise your hand. But you didn't, and we both know why, so save the complaining for civilians and other REMFs who might feel as cheated as you do about not getting a CIB.

Stick around, they will soon have a Artillery Forward Observer Combat Badge as this making even more awards thing doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.

Say, they already have a Combat Action Badge...ain't that good enough?
