Hmm, a bit of mischief making from Russ, now at Old Leams, I think here.

From my understanding the coach did not take up his position due to non-rugby related matters (he never met the players or attended training, with all sessions to date being led by Steve Clarke, Jonny Cresswell, Rich Gibson, and on one occasion the Portuguese National Coaches).

Numbers at training have been higher than previous years, but as is the norm many senior players have expressed a desire to get involved closer to the matches in late August.

Finally, its true some players have left the club, but we also have picked up an equal amount of new players from other clubs, and I have been very impressed by their performances and commitment in training.

A little early to hit the panic button...
