1988 Chestnut Mare, broke to ride but mainly has been brood mare, Has had some really nice colts all of which have been stud colts for the last four that I am familiar with. Two Eyed Jack on papers with a lot of foundation throughout. I have the most recent baby off her that is 6 months old. $1750.

2004 Bay Roan Gelding, very green with only about 10 rides. Very good looking colt, big bone, big feet, probably will mature to about 15-2. Cee Booger Red on papers, Clabber Bar, Poco Bueno, and Leo one line off. $2500.

2005 Buckskin Stud Colt, very good confirmation, good feet, one white star and small snip at nose. Nice color even throughout summer with dapples showing too. Frosting in mane and tail. Cee Booger Red, Clabber Bar, Mr. San Peppy, San Peppy Badger breeding. $1500.

Just wanted to say what a great rodeo it was in Wachula and acknowledge some of those people instrumental in making it so successful. Our President Mr. Ed Vickers did a masterful job at organizing the entire thing and "Big Ups" to him for not only the great job last weekend, but for the entire season thus far. Never saw a rodeo where the stock was any better or more even for every event. Can't say thank you enough to Mr. Steve Hart (Calves & Chute Dogging & Tractor/Drag), Mr. Ted Chancey (Team, Roping), Mr. Jonhnny Hubler(Goats) and Mr. Chris Stewart (Bulls). Big, Big Ups!!!
There are a number of Dads and moms who always seem to be around when something needs doing(ie Announcing, Dragging the arena, timing, pushing cattle, getting coffee, or just opening gates). This includes the officers and event directors who take time from their own children to take care of the minutia of making things run smooth for the rest of us. There's probably too many to name and thank here, especially without omitting a few, but you know who you are and trust us, you don't go unnoticed.
We have a great thing going and it’s because of the selflessness and generosity of some really great parents. Rarely have I been associated with an organization where they truly believe, “There’s no limit to what can be accomplished if you don’t care who gets the credit”. Thanks to each of you for all you do. Please forgive me if I’ve forgotten to name someone I should.

WHEW!
We got through another weekend somewhat injury FREE! YEAH!
You guys are the Best.
I had a few info sheets turned in. Thanks so much!
It is my fault that the majority of you did not.
I FORGOT to put the index cards on the table for each contestant. Then, I should have had the cards for you at the Jackpot roping (but I'm a Dork!)
I'll have a better "GRIP" on this next month in Wauchula!
Hopefully!!!!! :)
I had personal knowledge on some, that is why I mentioned little tid-bits about you. Then some of the GREAT "Moms" turned in some info on other kids. Thanks for doing that.
IT does help make things sound more interesting.
IF you want to include that you made the trip to Gallup this past summer, that is fine. Just let me know the events you were in. Also, add ANYTHING you want the spectators to know about you, "within reason." :)

You're an awesome bunch of competitors to say the least! Speaking for all the parents, We are very proud of you.
I was thinking......... (could be dangerous) but anywhoooo, I was thinking, that we need to "initiate" the Victory Lap again for the contestant winning his or her daily event. Ya'll work hard for your accomplishments and you should be recognized! Another little item I would like to include: If I'm going to continue to announce..... A little more information on each contestant as you are being introduced. Things like, where you're from, what grade you're in, favorite food, favorite music or movie, your horses name, yadda....yadda...yadda!!! I would like to get to know ya'll better and I'm sure other folks would too! It would make things a little more interesting~ SO! if you want to PLEASE give me that information at next month's rodeo, that would be WONDERFUL! May not be a good idea to e-mail personal information like this (to many Crazy's in the world that might come and get you) and we can't have that, now can we?
Continue working hard in school and in the practice arena. Get your information to be announced ready to hand to me next month in Wauchula.

doing the Church Sunday @ Wauchula Thank you All.

P.S. I have announced Hi School Rodeos before and they had a computer read out of all the rodeos to date, I could see what the kids did at the last rodeos and their times or score, it made announcing soooo easy and fun. It also told me how they stood in the standings.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank several wonderful people who helped in the goat tying event. Mr. Ogle, Mr. Baylor, Mr. Chancey, Mr. Bennetch, Mr. Toney, Mr. Barthle, Mr. Hart (gate keeper), student directors, a special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Hubler for all your guidance and encouragement, and a very special and most appreciated thank you to the Baylor family for having faith and confidence in Brian in spite of his "misses."
I would also like to add that let us not forget why we are all here - remember this is for kids not us adults. I saw, heard, and experienced some "little league" attitude this weekend that I had never seen, heard, or experienced during last year in three associations. Let's keep focused on kids having a good time and not being so "cut throat." Thank you for allowing me to be your goat director and I truly look forward to a great season.

Hey everyone! Hope you guys are ready to rodeo! It looks like we have a great group of families again this year.

Please remember if you are coming in Friday night I will be doing early check in between 6-8pm. I may even be out there later than that so if you can come by and check in. It looks like we will be busy at check in on Sat. morning.
Friday check in will help speed things up Saturday.

If you are a new member and did not send in your Birth Cert. please bring a copy with you.

We are planning Pizza for Sat. night. Also a Kickball game in the arena (if it is not being used for something) and/or volleyball game. Remember the elections for your student officers and event directors will take place 30 min. after the rodeo on Sat. If you have any questions call me on my cell phone at 352 279-0909. Mrs. Liz

Also to Skyler, Lexie, Piper, Loni & Clayton for making it back to the Final Go, as well. Thanks to all of our "Florida Cheerleaders"!! You looked great. I have some great pictures that I will try to get in very soon!

A very special thanks goes out to Kim Chancey for being such a life saver and letting Lanna, Erin, Kelsey & Taylor have somewhere to hang out and have a great time! I'm sure they will never forget it!!

WOW! What a week in Gallup. Even though me and Ace had a tough break in Poles. TEAM FLORIDA ROCKS!
Ty and Clint, you Rock! Everybody, you are the best! I am so proud to be on this team.
My campaign managers: Lacey Kinney, Morgan Smith, Taylor Kinney, Kelsey Simmons, Sabel Rose Toney. I could not have won National Vice-President without YOU.
For all the families who put on the Laci Whaley flags and posters on your golf carts, YOU ROCK! I do believe the other Teams wished they could be as "Cool" as us!
Me and Ace will be coming out in full force in September, to qualify for next summer, so be ready everybody! I know in my heart he is a NATIONAL Champion, he just doesn't know it YET! Stay in touch!

OK, I talked with the Red Rock Park (they will set up all the camp locations, not the national office). As some of you know Florida had the best camping location last year. This year they will be taking all the states who camped out behind the big barn (that did not have shade, they were parked in rows) and let them have most of the shade camping. So...we will most likely be on the big flat area behind the barn. However, they did say we may be placed in the new camping areas they set up for this year. This new area is up by the jackpot arena (past where the rodeo stock was housed last year. Someone else may remember the location better than I do?? We will not be in the same place as last year, so plan for a sunny spot, just in case.
Also remember it is very wendy there at times. If you plan to use a portable tent it will need to be staked down well.

Hey guys, I have sent the first shirt order to the national office and they are hoping to have them back by the State Finals. We have moved the State finals rodeo up a few weeks to May 20th and 21st at the Hilliard Arena, they said they are going to try real hard to have the order back by then. we plan to use the White shirt for the state pictures of the team for Nationals.
I will plan to place the last shirt order right after the April Qualifier so please have your order ready. These shirts ordered in April most likely will not be back for the state finals in May, but I will ask and see what they can do.

What a great rodeo weekend. Thank you for helping it run so smoothly by being ready to go when your name was called.
Your new student officers and directors did a good job with all the new duties and I was very impressed to see them first thing Sunday morning to see what they could do to help us get the rodeo started. I know it is hard to juggle being ready to ride with the new duties. It was great to see them showing the younger kids, who are not participating in the rodeo, how to sell the day sheets. I enjoyed watching them work and I think they enjoyed helping the older kids out. A big thanks to the High School Rodeo members who came out to help too.
Thank you to all the parents who made the chili, it was great after such a cold day.

The points are on the web site, keep in mind we are a work in progress.
Sammy and I are in Oklahoma City at the National High School Rodeo winter meeting with Mr. P our national director. We have learned a lot about how our organization is run and the National Finals Rodeo for the Wrangler Division is shaping up to be bigger and better than the 1st year. Thank you to Mrs Sally for all the work she has done for me. Getting the points to Mrs. Rita to put on the site, making sure all the paper work from the rodeo was completed, and the many e-mails I asked her to send after the rodeo were all a huge help.

Hey! I wanted to take a second and say what a great job I thought everyone of the kids did this weekend at the first Florida Wrangler rodeo. You guys are awesome.

There were some great runs and some big heartaches. I went from being crazy happy for one girl in the goat tying to wiping my eyes 2 runs later (sometimes I get too "into it", I know). The Ribbon Roping was fun to watch, I wish we had that at all the rodeos. I was really glad the McKenzie(??)girl was okay after the dance she and her horse did with Montana's grandaddy before Grand Entry on Sunday. That was a crazy way to start the day.

But.. everyone was great! You are all champs to me. You guys seemed to be helping each other and were always ready when your name was called. The student directors were in the arena at the start of their events and ready to do the jobs they were assigned. That is super to see!

Keep up the great work - keep practicing and riding hard. I'll see some of you again soon - everyone else, I'm already looking forward to April. Thanks for letting me be a part of it all.

I know all the Officers and Directors who have worked so hard to make Florida Wrangler a possibility this year for you guys were real proud of you this weekend too! Take a sec to tell them Thanks when you get the opportunity! They sure deserve it.

Hey, It's Logan Barican. I do Southern Junior Rodeo and just recently became a member of the Florida Junior Rodeo. I made it to Nationals last year and had a blast meeting new people and competing! I can not wait for the wrangler qualifying rodeos to start! Well, until then ride hard and keep practicing!

Hey yall! Im Sabal Rose Toney,

I am friends with Sammy and rodeo with her in the Florida Jr rodeo and the Southern Jr rodeo. My events are: Barrels, Poles, Goats, and Breakaway. I would like to do the Wrangler Division this year. I have heard many things about it. Sammy has told me that yall are a great group of kids. If i do the Wrangler Division i hope to make it out west and meet all of yall!
