Good luck on your big hair day. We don't really need to practice but the coaches need jobs so we go out there every day and make it look like they know what they are doing.
We come out there as good as we'll ever be. I don't know much about golf but we all try to get a hole in one after plactice.
Once there was a quarterback, 2 halfbacks and a fullback. The quarterback needs to be fairly tall so the big guys do not block their passes. The fullback was the short yardage man and main blocker. The halfback needed to be the fastest. Now, at times they call the only guy behind the quarterback a tailback, You can relate to that.
We do a lot of old style football. Once, the pros were the first with new offenses but these days they are more conservative than most high schools and colleges. In our wide open offense, I get to block guys when they are not expecting it. When I catch a pass, I expect to get hit.

Thanks for your concern about me. Not much we can do about this woman under discussion, but I ageee.

Ted, I'm surprised at you. The best offense in football is the running game, power football. It all comes down to blocking and tackling and who wins the battle in the trenches. High powered, open offenses are for wimps. Our High School team got to the State Quarterfinals last year averaging just 6 pass attempts per game.
