Hi Bob F. In all my 62 years, I've never had a double date like the one planned tonight. Dennis will take me out to dinner and a movie. He will take me to my apartment. As soon as he leaves, I head for this all-night restaurant where I meet Harvey, the guy from my old town.
Thank you for your concern, Glen. I do not think I am going to go head over heels for either of these guys. They both seem to be substantial.
I am substantial enough to buy a 2-bedroom house for myself. That's all I need. I'm sure they are more substantial than me.
Dennis owns a string of convenience stores. He could be in serious debt but they seem to have a lot of business and he started with property his dad owned.
I know Harvey is a rich man. He makes a lot of money still. He has clear ownership of a real estate and insurance business. It's really a matter of love for me.
I want to grow old in this college town I spent one year of my life and I do not want to grow old alone.
This week, my granddaughters who share my apartment continued their same stances. Whitney smokes and Emily does not. They are both 20. They know their mothers and an aunt smoke very rarely.
Late last night, I finished the rough draft of my dissertation. I spent 5 hours of a non-smoking review by the department head. This was a shock since I was smoking almost 2 packs a day getting this thing done. I will have an intense oral review from a graduate council.
I do have a two-year assignment at this university so I've left my community college job and putting down roots. Harvey has my house listed. If he drags his feet, I will find a more hungry firm not emotionally involved. He's privately trying to sell his business interests.
