Yep, Bob. I was glad to see some of the vacation returnees back. I would love to hear from Nancy and Alice and many others. How are you Dusti? Quincy, how is your mom?
We took Gwen, Wilma's roommate, back home so she could go see the doctor.
After about a pack over the weekend, Gwen has not smoked. She went to see her family doctor to see about getting on the pill. The plan was for us to drop Gwen at her house and meet her mother who would take her to the doctor. When we went to her house, Gwen's little sister was sitting outside smoking.
Gwen asked if she was a little young for that. He sister said everybody smokes. Mom even smoked back then. The saint needs a puff. So Wilma took a couple of puffs that impressed her little sister. We laughed.
The little sister held the cigarette down as Gwen's mother pulled up. Gwen got in the car with her mother and off they went to the doctor. The appointment was at 4. Gwen's mom wanted to take us to dinner with the family for taking Gwen back home.
We went across town to see Gayle who was Wilma's roommate when college started last year. Gayle became pregnant and has a cute little baby but not too pretty of a future because of limited funds.
Gwen did not want that. Her mother was somewhat upset that Gwen was getting on the pill without being married. This is the 21st century, lady. After the kids, Gwen's mother did get on the pill and may still be on it.
After visiting Gayle, we joined Gwen and full family, including a girlfriend of Gwen's athletic brother. We sat in non-smoking.
On the way home, Gwen did not want another cigarette. She told us to please not tell her college bf, Bart, why she came home or that she had a couple of puffs on a cigarette.
Bart's pants get very excited. He's not asking any more of Gwen than Wilma provides for me. My pants are very happy.
