Whoops, I'm going to be a grandmother again. My son and gf broke the news to us last night after she paid a visit to a doctor in this town but one that none of us use.
Keith turned 20 in March and Judy is a few weeks older. Judy seems a lovely girl. She is not smoking which shows some maturity.
Keith said he never wanted to marry a smoker so he hopes she has quit that for good. Apparently, she only advanced to regular smoking when she got to college.
The small ceremony at the bride's house will be Saturday. They are in her town to take out a marriage license. Then, they will get an apartment at college. Both think they can find jobs. They will also enroll for the second summer term.
Keith warns me that Judy's parent's house is a non-smoking facility and that Judy has never smoked in front of her parents. Make that smoked, now.
My husband and I cleared the marriage hurdle before our first child was in the mill. Erin, the revived smoker, is expecting her third child. Assuming she comes to the wedding, she will need to bring her kids. That's the news. No one else seems to have taken up smoking. Judy has given it up.
