Morning Susan. Megan's vacation recap is great.
Let met tell you about my anti moehter-in-law's sudden thrust into ownership of a tobacco store.
It's not going exactly as planned. My husband's mother had never smoked until Friday night when she tried some Virginia Slims menthols. She's doing the tobacco store bit as a combo with her husband, who is making furiture out of what had been cedar posts.
Her present husband is not my husband father. There have been other guys in between. Still my mother-in-law never smoked or drank.
My mother's new husband, Big Frank, owns the building with the tobacco store. Weekend business was good. My husband and I smoked a pipe at the shop and I even sold a lady a pipe but Sandy, my mother in law, did not like the pipe.
She and I smoked a cigar at the shop yesterday. I smoked mine longer than she did but did not really enjoy my first one.
What Sandy does like is Virginia Slims. She's learned to inhale and smokes them while off-duty. As her lungs take in cigarette smoke, her mind is full of ideas to promote the shop.
It seemed the shop was a concession to let her husband make furniture but the tobacco shop may be the lead business for them. I'm off to work and back to smoking my Marlboro Menthols.
