I'm not the mother, just the big sister. I often have the big and growing family over for Sunday dinner.
I didn't attend the service most of the family attends. I don't need to know I should smoke, drink or even dance.
My sister Sharon goes to another church where bingo is the name of the game.
Sharon, my next sister, came in with her baby and handed her off to Judy, my daughter-in-law who happens to be expecting. Then Sharon went outside to smoke with her daughters who range in age from 10 to 17. My Kendra and Holly were also there.
Aimee, my second child, came in with a guy. I had never met him before but he seemed real nice. She's a heavy smoker but was not smoking. You always consider the possibility that she is pregnant.
But Aimee is my recent college graduate with a good head on her shoulders even if she has been smoking 10 years. She is working at a good job already.
She said that she and Gage just decided to give up smoking and they even went to church today. It was yet anoghter congregation.
Kanen, my youngest sister came in like nothing ever happened yesterday. She actually had 2 bad puffs on a cigarette and passed the cigarette to her daughters. Darren, Jane and Darrell came in but Shirley was caught up in the outdoor smoking section.
Jane smoked yesterday in what she called a protest of Shirley smoking. Both were to not smoke today be Shirley could not pass up a bunch of smokers without joining.
My son Keith and wife Judy, both 20, have left. They will stop off at her parents and then go to their college town where they have a modest apartment.
