Seriously, I hope Cathy is okay. It didn't sound like too bad of a bicycle wreck. Ted asks about Cathy's dress. With 3 boys, the oldest got a whole lot more new clothes than his brothers. They got hand me downs. Now the second is taller than the oldest so he gets exclusive new stuff. Once, my oldest crashed his bike and skinned his knee. I was about to cry. He tore a hole in a pair of jeans that were to be handed down to the other boys.
We kept my brother's 16-year-old twin girls last night after their date. They're still here, sleeping of course.
They came in like the cat that ate the canary. They told me that Edie, the anti daughter of my brother, was sitting outside her apartment with her boyfriend smoking a cigarette.
I tried to dismiss it as probably a one-time thing if not an illusion. My oldest asked what they had been smoking. They said nothing, not even cigarettes. Karen kicked the smoking habit with the planned move her. Sharon never smoked. They are in the workouts with other kids and plan to try to play volleyball.
They are supposedly very good at softball. Anyway, I guess we shall see.
Ward, Edith and Warren's 18-year-old son, goes with Kim, a heavy smoker at 16. Last night, he let his cousin Shelli double date with them. Her date was a good friend of my middle son who like this son and a nephew hope to make the varsity football team as freshmen.
This boy and my second also hope to make the varsity basketball team. Shelli had kicked the habit and was working out with the other kids. However, her mother let her and little sister smoke with a holder Thursday night and Shelli was smoking most of the day Friday.
Diane is bringing those girls along way too fast.
